고양시 관광 클러스터 개발 방안 연구

국문 초록

관광을 목적으로 우리나라를 방문한 외국인은 2019년 1,750만 명을 기록했으며, 특히 한류의 영향으로 2012년 이후로 매년 1000만 명을 넘고 있고 이는 해를 겁듭할수록 증가추세이다. 하지만 고양시는 관광자원이 부족한 도시가 아님에도 불구하고 관광산업이 크게 발전하지 못하는 문제점을 안고 있다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하고 고양시의 관광산업 발전을 위해서 맞춤형 관광 클러스터(Tourism Cluster) 개발 방안을 확인함으로써 고양시 관광산업 발전 방안을 모색하는데 연구의 목적을 두고 연구를 실시했다. 연구결과로는 최근 한류의 영향으로 한국을 찾는 관광객이 많아짐에 따라서 고양시에도외국 관광객을 유치하기 위한 고양시만이 가지고 있는 차별화된 관광자원을 활용해서 외국인관광객을 유치하는 관광 클러스터(Tourism Cluster) 개발이 꼭 필요하다는 점이다. 특히 연구결과로 고양시에 보다 많은 외국 관광객을 유치하고 고양시 관광산업 발전을 위해서 ‘관광 클러스터(Tourism Cluster)’를 개발하는 방안이 제시되었으며, 이를 위해서, 첫째, 정발산 관광전망대 설치 조성, 둘째, 정발산·호수공원 연계 케이블카 설치 운영, 셋째, 호수공원 등에 특화된 주차전용건축물 건립 등을 개발해야 하다는 점이 확인되었다. 즉, 고양시의료관광객 유치를 위해 관광 클러스터를 조성함으로써, 고양시 관광산업은 물론 지역경제발전에 크게 기여할 수 있다는 점이 중요한 연구의 결과이다.

영문 초록

The number of foreigners who visited Korea for the purpose of tourism was recorded 17.5 million in 2019, and in particular, due to the influence of the Hallyu wave, the number has exceeded 10 million every year since 2012. However, although Goyang is not a city lacking tourism resources, it has a problem that the tourism industry does not develop significantly. In order to solve these problems and to develop a Tourism Cluster in Goyang, this study was conducted with the purpose of research to find a way to develop the tourism industry in Goyang City. As a result of the study, as more tourists visit Korea due to the influence of the Hallyu wave in recent years, the development of a tourism cluster that attracts foreign tourists by utilizing the differentiated tourism resources unique to Goyang to attract foreign tourists is also necessary that it is absolutely necessary. In particular, as a result of the study, a plan to develop a 'Tourism Cluster' was proposed to attract more foreign tourists to Goyang. It was confirmed that it was necessary to develop first, the installation and operation of the Jeongbalsan tourist observatory, second, the installation and operation of cable cars linked to Jeongbalsan and Lake Park, third, the construction of a specilaized parking-only constration in Lake Park, In other words, it is an important research result that by creating a tourism cluster to Goyang, it can greatly contribute to the development of the local economy as well as the tourism industry in Goyang.
