유아의 세계시민의식이 유아 공감능력과 생명존중의식 및 공동체의식에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 유아의 세계시민의식이 유아 공감능력과 생명존중의식 및 공동체의식에 미치는 영향을 분석하는 데 있다. 본 연구의 대상은 경기와 충정지역의 어린이집과 유치원에 재원 중인 5세 유아 245명이었다. 본 연구의 분석을 위해 SPSS WIN 21.0 통계프로그램을 이용하여 연구문제에 따라 빈도분석, 상관관계분석, 중다회귀분석을 수행하였다. 본 연구의 결과, 유아의 세계시민의식은 유아의 공감능력, 생명존중의식 및 공동체의식과 통계적으로 유의한 상관관계를 보였다. 또한 유아 세계시민의식은 유아의 공감능력, 생명존중의식, 그리고 공동체 의식에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 유아의 세계시민의식과 관련 된 연구의 지평을 넓히는 것은 물론, 유아 공감능력과 생명존중의식 및 공동체의식을 확립하기 위한 지역사회 및 국가연구를 위한 기초자료로 활용될 것으로 기대된다. 본 연구는 유아 세계시민의식을 높일 수 있는 다양한 세계시민 체험 프로그램을 설계하고 모색해야 함을 시사한다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of young children’s global citizenship on empathy ability, life-respect recognition, and community spirit. The subjects of this study were 245 young children aged 5 attending daycare centers and kindergartens in the areas of Gyeonggi and Chungcheong. For the analysis of this study, frequency analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were performed according to the research problem using the SPSS/WIN 21.0 statistical program. As a result of this study, young children’s global citizenship had a significant positive correlation with empathy ability, life-respect recognition, and community spirit. In addition, it was found that young children’s global citizenship had a significant effect on empathy ability, life-respect, and community spirit. The results of this study are expected to be used as basic data for community and national research to establish young children’s empathy ability, life-respect, and community spirit as well as expand the horizon of research related to young children’s global citizenship. This study is meaningful in that it suggests that various global citizenship experience programs that can increase young children’s global citizenship should be designed and sought.
