국문 초록

본 논문은 한국의 대표적인 독립운동가이자 사상가인 백범 김구의 정치론을 다루고 있다. 백범의 정치론을 제대로 다루기 위해서는 그에 대한 분명한 인식이 전제되어야 한다. 우선 백범이 단순한 활동가가 아니라 사상가임을 인식해야 한다. 둘째, 백범은 정치과정과 정치문제의 혁파를 통해 자신의 정치적 생각을 실현하고자 했던 정치개혁가임을 인식해야 하고 셋째, 그는 이상국가론을 가지고 정치를 하였음을 이해해야 한다. 이러한 백범에 대한 인식체계를 기초로 하여 그의 정치론을 구체적으로 살펴보면 첫째, 백범의 정치론은 자유정치론으로 규정할 수 있다. 자유정치론은 자유를 기초로 한 정치론인데 그의 모든 활동과 이념의 기초가 되는 정치론이라고 할 수 있다. 둘째, 그의 정치론은 민주정치론으로 규정지을 수 있다. 민주정치론은 민주주의에 대한 신념체계로써 민주주의의 실천을 도모하는 정치론이다. 이러한 민주정치론은 자연스럽게 독재에 대한 반대론으로 귀결되고 있다. 그의 반독재에 대한 이론적․논리적 체계성은 지금의 시각에서 보아도 매우 뛰어나다고 평가된다. 마지막으로 그의 정치론은 문화정치론으로 규정지을 수 있다. 그는 정치에서 경성적인 요소인 권력, 세력, 투쟁 등의 가치보다 사랑, 자비, 인의 등 연성적인 요소로써 갈등과 분열의 정치를 극복하고자 했다.

영문 초록

This study is on the theory pf politics of Baekbum, Kim Koo. For the analysis on the theory of politics of Baekbum, we must understand the recognition system of aekbum, Kim Koo. That is to say, we must recognize that Baekbum, Kim Koo is not simply a activist but a thinker. Second, we must recognize that he is a political reformer realizing his political think through the reform of political process and problem. Third, we have to understand that Baekbum has developed the political activity with the theory of idealist state. On the basis of Baekbum’s recognition like discussed above, the theory of Baekbum’s politics is as follows; First, the theory of politics of Baekbum, Kim Koo is regulated as the theory of free politics. The theory of free politics is on the basis of freedom. It is the foundation of all his activity and thought. Second, his theory of free politics is regulated as the theory of democratic politics. A theory of democratic politics is the political theory seeking for the realization of democracy. Finally, his theory of politics is regulated as the theory of cultivated politics.
