국문 초록

니체는 출간된 저작에서뿐만 아니라, 출간되지 않은 많은 저술들에서 칸트 (Immanuel Kant)의 사유를 다양한 측면에서 인용하고 있다. 그러나 니체의 칸 트 수용은 칸트의 저작들을 통해 직접적으로 이뤄진 것이 아니라, 주로 아르투 어 쇼펜하우어(Arthur Schopenhauer), 쿠노 피셔(Kuno Fischer), 프리드리히 알 버트 랑에(Friedrich Albert Lange)와 같은 사상가들에 의해 제3자로부터 매개된 것이었다. 마르틴 하이데거(Martin Heidegger)는 이와 같은 맥락에서 니체의 칸 트철학 이해가 왜곡되어 있다고 지적한다. “만약 니체가 단지 쇼펜하우어를 따 르지 않고 칸트 자체를 연구했더라면, ... 사태의 본질을 파악한 사람은 칸트 한 사람뿐 이었다는 사실을 틀림없이 인식했을 것이다.” 또한 이러한 니체의 칸트 철학 수용에 대한 정당성 문제를 차치하더라도, 니체의 사유는 자신의 의도와는 상관없이, 야스퍼스를 비롯한 많은 현대의 사상가들에 의해 여전히 칸트철학의 영향력 아래에 있다고 해석되고 있다. 그럼에도 불구하고 우리가 여기에서 집중 하고자 하는 것은 니체의 칸트 해석을 둘러싼 정당성에 대한 문제나, 니체의 사 유에서 칸트철학의 영향력과 관련한 문제가 아니다. 왜냐하면 이와 같은 논의들 은 이미 기존의 연구자들을 통해 다양하고, 폭넓게 논의되어 왔기 때문이다. 따 라서 우리의 논의는 두 사상가의 사유, 특히 도덕에 대한 두 사상가의 이해의 간

영문 초록

Nietzsche mentions Kant in various ways. However, Nietzsche’s acceptance of Kant was not directly read by Kant’s works, but was mainly mediated by third parties by thinkers such as Arthur Schopenhauer, Kuno Fischer, and Friedrich Albert Lange. In this context, Martin Heidegger criticizes Nietzsche’s understanding of Kant’s philosophy, arguing that it is distorted from Schopenhauer. Nevertheless, what we want to focus on here is not the question of the legitimacy surrounding Nietzsche’s interpretation of Kant, or of Kant’s influence in Nietzsche’s thinking. This is because such discussions have already been discussed variously and widely through existing researchers. Therefore, the writer intends to focus the discussion on the gap between the two thinkers’ thoughts, especially those of the two thinkers about morality, which can never be reconciled. In other words, the center of the discussion here is never to seek reconciliation through the interface between Nietzsche and Kant’s detailed area of moral philosophy. It is a gap between human understanding and moral interpretation, which is the basis of the moral philosophy of the two thinkers.
