국문 초록

이 글은 1950년대 한국에서 실존주의가 나오게 된 시대적 배경과 의미를 살 피며 니체사상이 어떻게 실존사상의 궤도에서 수용되고 해석되었는지를 살펴보 고자 한다. 먼저 50년대 니체수용의 대표자라 할 수 있는 박종홍, 안병욱, 조승 순 등의 니체 수용의 내용을 살펴보고, 더 나아가 60년대 초 하기락, 조가경의 니 체 해석을 비롯해 니체철학을 동양사상과 비교하면서 주체적 해석을 모색하는 비교연구의 경향 등을 논의할 것이다. 50년대와 60년대 초 한국에서 실존주의와 연관해 이루어진 니체해석에는 실존적 이슈가 다루어지는 시대적 의미도 있었 지만, 동시에 실존주의적 니체해석의 영향과 관심의 강도가 지속되면서 이후 새 로운 시각으로 니체사상에 접근하는 데 많은 시간을 필요로 했다.

영문 초록

This article examines the historical background and meaning of the emergence of existentialism in Korea in the 1950s and discuss how Nietzsche thought was accepted and interpreted in the trajectory of existential thought. This article will first examine the contents of Nietzsche acceptance by Park Jong-hong, Ahn Byeong-wook, and Cho Seung-soon, who can be called representatives of Nietzsche acceptance in the 1950s. This thesis will further discuss the Nietzsche interpretations of Ha Gi-rak and Jo Ga-gyeong in the early 1960s, as well as the tendency of comparative studies to seek a subjective interpretation while comparing Nietzsche’s philosophy with Eastern thought. The Nietzsche interpretation made in Korea in the 1950s and early 1960s in relation to existentialism had the significance of the times in which existential issues were dealt with, but at the same time, the influence and intensity of interest in the existentialist Nietzsche interpretation caused a blockage that prevented a new interpretation of Nietzsche’s thought.
