국문 초록

본 논문은 사회주의 계열의 소년운동가 이원규가 발행한 아동잡지의 서지적특징과 검열 양상을 분석하고자 하였다. 『조선출판경찰월보』에 수록된 자료를바탕으로 그가 발행한 아동 잡지의 검열 양상과 특징을 분석하였고, 이를 통해일제강점기 아동문학사 속에서 이원규의 존재를 재조명해보고자 하였다. 이원규는 아동 청소년을 대상으로 한 잡지 『무궁화』와 『소년세계』의 발행인으로 두 잡지 모두 검열의 흔적을 확인할 수 있다. 잡지 『무궁화』는 그 실체가 남아있지 않지만 농촌의 무산아동과 무산소년을 대상으로 소년운동을 전개하기 위한 목적으로 간행되었다. 또한 본고에서 집중적으로 살펴본 잡지 『소년세계』는 문예란과 문예회원 모집을 통해 독자투고 시스템을 구축함으로써, 독자를 확보함과 동시에 소년운동가이자 아동문학가로의 전환을 유도하는 방식을 활용한 특징을 가지고 있었다. 또한 검열 자료를 통해 확인한 『소년세계』는 무산소년의 계급 문제에 집중한 사회주의적 색채가 강한 잡지인 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 물론잡지는 지속적인 검열로 인해 휴간과 정간이 반복되고, 제호를 변경하게 되면서잡지가 추구한 방향성이 다소 약화되는 경향을 보인다. 그러나 무산소년을 대상으로 계급 문제를 공론화하고 있다는 점에서 특징적이라 할 수 있다. 그리고 아동 청소년을 대상으로 대중적인 교양보다는 사회주의 사상에 기반한 현실 비판과 투쟁을 강조하는 저항적인 시각을 심어주기 위한 결과였음을 알 수 있었다.

영문 초록

This paper tried to analyze the bibliographic characteristics and censorship patterns of children's magazines published by Lee Wongyu, a socialist youth activist. Based on the data contained in the “Joseon Chulpan Gyeongchal Wolbo”, the censorship aspect and characteristics of the children's magazines published by him were analyzed, and through this, the existence of Lee Wongyu in the history of children's literature during the Japanese colonial period was reexamined. Lee Wongyu is the publisher of “Mugunghwa” and “Sonyeon Segye”, both magazines for children and teenagers, and traces of censorship can be confirmed in both magazines. The magazine “Mugunghwa” has no real substance, but it was published for the purpose of developing a youth movement targeting nonliving and non-living children in rural areas. In addition, “Sonyeon Segye”, the magazine focused on in this paper, has the characteristics of utilizing a method to secure readers and induce the transition to a boy activist and children's literary writer by establishing a reader submission system through the literary and literary circles and recruitment of literary members. there was. In addition, it was confirmed that “Sonyeon Segye”, which was confirmed through censorship data, was a magazine with strong socialist colors that focused on the class issue of non-living boys. Of course, due to continuous censorship, the magazines tend to have a tendency to weaken the direction the magazines pursued as they are repeatedly suspended and suspended and the title is changed. However, it can be said that it is characteristic in that it publicizes the class issue targeting the underprivileged. And it can be seen that this was the result of instilling a resistive view that emphasized real criticism and struggle based on socialist ideology rather than popular education for children and adolescents.
