영문 초록

This article examines the effects of infectious diseases on human society through the history of epidemics. Infectious diseases that appeared in past history destroy one civilization or create a new one. Not only that, it creates a new order for the people by increasing the power of the state, but also suppresses it in a more subtle way. As Corona 19 has been going on for more than two and a half years, countries, industries, schools, individuals, and even cultural phenomena are changing. It is no exaggeration to say that these changes are an invisible war. The COVID-19 pandemic proves that natural ecosystems are functioning in their own way without human awareness. It seems that humans have conquered nature and achieved material civilization, but it is necessary to recognize that humans still exist within the natural order. As the history of epidemics shows, epidemics destroy and create civilizations. Countries need governance technologies to keep their populations safe from epidemics. The state created a safety mechanism and managed and controlled the people in such a way that discipline and coercion were placed in it. Problems that have been exposed to Korean society, such as the contradictions of globalization, have been exposed, but the post-COVID-19 country has presented a safety mechanism as the main target of governance rather than solving these problems. In the post-Corona world, untact using electronic equipment will proceed more rapidly. Based on this, the state is expected to manage and control the people in a more sophisticated way.
