니체의 니힐리즘 사상을 통해 본 <센과 치히로의 행방불명> 속 존재와 세계의 무화에 대한 분석

국문 초록

성과사회라는 개념은 한병철의 『피로사회』에 대한 우리시대의 일시적인 지적 호기심 정도로 스쳐지나가는 것처럼 보였다. 그러나 책 속이 아니라 책 밖의성과사회, 그것도 변형된 성과사회가 점차적으로 현실화되고 있다. 한병철이 논한 성과사회와의 접점보다는 차이점이 더 커 보이는 우리사회에 거주하고 있는구성원들 또한 기형적 성과주체의 모습을 강요당하고 있는 처지이다. 도대체 성과에 대한 강요나 집착의 배경은 무엇일까? 어쩌면 빈곤시대의 산물인 허기에대한 공포 그리고 그 공포를 극복하기 위한 지난한 몸부림은 실존으로서 인간존재의 절박한 현실과 현상을 대변하는 것은 아닐까? ‘빨리 빨리’를 외치며 주린 배를 채우기 위한 노동이 제공하는 안도감이 제대로 향유되기도 전에 주린 배를 채우는 과정에서 초래된 마음의 허기로 인한 우울증과 분노 그리고 자살률의 역습이 시작되었다. 그러나 고단한 마음과 상처에대한 치유의 요청은 단지 힐링이라는 시대의 유행어로 치부되고 지나가버렸다. 설상가상으로 부모세대의 배와 가슴의 이중적 허기가 다시 자식세대에 재출현하는 것 같다. 이로써 제2의 이중적 허기의 악순환에 대한 우려와 공포가 예상된다. 이 악화된 이중적 허기는 우리 자신과 우리 세계에 어떤 영향을 미칠까? 이 글에서 논자는 오늘날 우리사회와 우리 자신의 정체성을 좀 더 구체화해보기 위하여 한편으로는 마치 성과사회의 압축판처럼 보이는 미야자키 하야오(み やざき はやお) 감독의 <센과 치히로의 행방불명>의 ‘온천장’이라는 공간과 이공간 속의 등장인물들을 분석해보고자 한다. 다른 한편으로는 성과사회에 수반되는 자아와 세계의 변형을 철학적으로 분석해보기 위하여 니체의 니힐리즘(Nichilismus) 담론을 접목해보고자 한다. 이를 위하여 논자는 은유들을 통하여우리의 정체성이나 공간을 표현한 『차라투스트라는 이렇게 말했다』라는 저서의관련 부분을 분석해 보고자 한다. 나아가 이처럼 19세기말에 유럽을 읽어냈던철학적 담론을 20세기 후반에 일본을 읽어냈던 애니메이션 담론과 접목함으로써 이중적 허기에 노출된 21세기 한국사회를 진단하고 치유하는 예비 개념을 모색해보고자 한다.

영문 초록

The concept of outcome society seemed to pass by as a temporary intellectual curiosity of our times for Han Byung-cheol’s『Fatigue Society』. However, it is not the outcome of the book but the outcome out of the book, and that the modified outcome society gets actualized by degrees. The members residing in our society where the difference looms bigger than the point of contact with the outcome society which Han Byung-cheol argued are also in the position to be forced to show the figure of a freak of outcome subject. What is on earth the background of coercion or obsession on the result? Probably the fear for hunger, the product of poverty times and the desperate agony to get over the fear represents the pressing reality and phenomenon of human being as existence? The counterattack of depression, anger and suicide ratio came out owing to the hunger of the mind aroused in the process to fill one’s empty stomach before the sense of relief which the labor provides to fill one’s empty stomach yelling “quick, quick” is enjoyed properly. The request for the cure of tired mind and injury was dismissed as the buzzword of the times called only healing and passed by. What is worse, the double hunger of parent generation seems to reappear again in child generation. Herewith the worry and fear for the vicious circle of second double hunger is prospected. What kind of influences does this worsened double hunger have on ourselves and our world? In this paper the arguer analyzed the space so-called ‘ a hot spring’ of of Director Miyajaki Hayao(みやざき はや お) as if it seemed the compression plate of outcome society in order to materialize our society and our own identity more nowadays on the one hand and the characters in this space. On the other hand, this writer grafted the discourses of Nietzsche’s nihilism(Nihilismus) to analyze the transformation of self and world accompanied by outcome society philosophically. For this purpose, this arguer intended to analyze the related part of the book Thus Spoke Zarathustra which expressed our identity or space through metaphors. Further, this arguer attempted to graft the philosophical discourses which read the Europe in the end of 19th century to the animation discourses which read Japan in the latter art of 20th century and intended to grope for the preliminary concept to diagnose and cure Korean society of 21st century exposed to the double hunger.
