국문 초록

본 논문은 먼저 사회주의 인구학의 기초가 되는 마르크스 인구론에대해서 살펴보고 북한의 경우 마르크스 인구학이 어떻게 주체인구학으로 변모되었는지를 설명하고 있다. 그리고 해방 이후 북한의 인구정책의 변천 과정을 정책 내용을 중심으로 5단계로 나누어 분석했다. 북한은 최근 20년에 걸친 출산 장려 정책이 실패하면서 저소득국가임에도불구하고 저출산 고령화의 문제가 발생했다. 본 연구에서는 현재 북한의 저출산 고령화 실태를 각종 통계를 중심으로 분석했다. 북한의 경제위기와 식량난, 그리고 저출산 고령화의 인구 문제를 함께 극복해나가는 것이 김정은 정권의 최대 과제이다.

영문 초록

This thesis first examines Marx’s demographic theory, which is the basis of socialist demographics, and explains how Marx’s demographics transformed into Juche demographics in the case of North Korea. In addition, the process of change in North Korea’s population policy since 1945 was analyzed by dividing it into five stages, focusing on the policy contents. North Korea’s policy to encourage childbirth over the past 20 years has failed, causing problems of low birthrates and aging population despite being a low-income country. This study analyzed the current low birth rate and aging population in North Korea, focusing on various statistics. The biggest challenge of the Kim Jong-un regime is to overcome the North Korean economic crisis, food shortages, and population problems of low birthrates and aging population.
