국문 초록

신약 성경 안에서 하느님께서는 예수님이라는 존재를 통해 당신의 자비를 말씀하신다. 이는 다음 계시의 맥락과 일치한다. “하느님께서 예전에는 예언자들을 통하여 여러 번에 걸쳐 여러 가지 방식으로 조상들에게 말씀하셨지만, 이 마지막 때에는 아드님을 통하여 우리에게 말씀하셨습니다.”(히브 1,1) 구약이 자비를 중심으로 하느님에 대해 증언했던 줄거리들이 연속성과 절대성의 측면에서 어렴풋하게 보였다면, 신약에서는 구약이 자비에 부여했던 모든 것들을 예수님 안에서 집약하고 완성하고 있다. 그러므로 신약의 ‘자비’를 이해하는 중심 열쇠는 예수님의 존재와 그분의 현존이다. 자비의 계시 원리에 관한 첫 번째 연구는 구약 안에서 드러난 하느님자비의 특징을 분석하여 자비를 이해하는 관점들을 제시하였다. 이어서 두번째 연구는 자비에 관한 구약의 특징들이 가리켰던 하느님의 얼굴이 예수님께서 알려주신 당신 아버지의 자비로운 얼굴에서 구체화되고 있음을 보여주었다. 이제 마지막으로 본 연구는 지금까지 진행되어온 자비의 흐름에 최종적인 의미를 부여하는 예수님의 존재를 중심으로 그리스도교 자비의 고유성을 종합하고자 한다.

영문 초록

God speaks his mercy through the existence of Jesus in the New Testament. This is consistent with the Divine Revelation in the following excerpt: “In times past, God spoke in partial and various ways to our ancestors through the prophets; in these last days, he spoke to us through a son.”(Heb 1,1) While God shows his mercy vaguely through the testimony in the aspect of narrative continuity and the absoluteness of his existence in the Old Testament, he does so intensively through His son Jesus Christ in the New Testament. Thus, the key to understanding mercy in the New Testament is through both the existence of Christ in the bible and his living presence around us now. The first study on ‘the Principle of the Divine Revelation of Mercy’ presented a variety of views to understand mercy, analyzing the structures and the rules of it shown in the Old Testament. The second study on ‘the Principle of the Divine Revelation of Mercy’ demonstrated divine mercy in the Old Testament more clearly through the revelation from Christ about the Father in the New Testament. At last, this study summarizes uniqueness of mercy in Christianity, focusing on Christ’s existence to give a conclusion to the studies conducted so far.
