국문 초록

어머니에 대한 효의 실천과 백성 및 병사들에 대한 이순신의 사랑은 국가에 대한 충으로 승화되어 위기에 빠진 나라를 구하는 기반이 되었다. 그는 전공보다 백성의 안전과 피해를 막기 위해, 후퇴하는 적을 끝까지 추격하지 않았다. 군량미의 자급자족과 피난민들을 위해 둔전 경영에 나서는 등 애민정신의 실천에 적극적이었다. 나라의 근본이 백성이라는 전제를 굳게 실행했던 이순신은, 애민과 애병정신을 바탕으로 장병 및 백성과의 소통에 적극적이었다. 이를 통해 군심과 민심을 잡을 수 있었고, 건국 이후 최대의 전쟁에서 승리할 수 있었다. 그의 승리 비결은 모름지기 민심과 군심을 잡았기 때문에 가능했고, 그 바탕에 애민정신이 있었던 것이다.

영문 초록

The practice of filial piety toward the mother and Yi Sun-sin's love for his people and soldiers was sublimated into loyalty to the state and the foundation for saving the country in danger. He did not pursue the retreating enemy to the end to prevent the safety of the people and damage rather than his own war achievement. He actively engaged in affection for people, including the development of land, to secure the supply of soldiers and refugees. Yi Sun-shin, who firmly implemented the premise that the foundation of the country is the people, was active in communication based on his affection for people and soldiers. As a result, the hearts of soldiers and peoples could be won and the biggest war since the founding of the country could be won. The secret of his victory was possible because he had conquered the hearts of the people and the soldiers and was based on affection for people.
