온라인 환경과 오프라인 환경의 수업에서 한국어 학습자의 교수실재감 인식 비교 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 온라인과 오프라인 수업에서 강의를 수강하고 있는 학습자들을 대상으로 한국어 학습자들 이 지각하는 교수실재감을 측정하고자 하였다. 또한 한국어 학습자가 오프라인 수업과 온라인 수업에서 가장 큰 차이를 보이는 교수실재감 항목을 제시하면서 논의가 필요한 부분에 대한 방향과 그 방안을 제안하였다. 온라인 환경 수업과 오프라인 환경 수업에서 한국어 학습자들의 교수실재감의 특성에 대한 연구 결과 한국어 학습자는 13개의 교수실재감 측정 항목 모두 온라인에 비해 오프라인에서 높은 교수실재감을 보였다. 한국어 교육에서 교수실재감의 어떤 영역을 더 강화해야 하는가의 제안에서 는 먼저 온라인과 오프라인 모두 점수가 낮게 나온 수업 설계 및 계획을 명료하게 학습자들에 인식시켜줘 야 할 필요가 있다. 둘째, 온라인 수업에서는 확인점검 및 피드백의 구체적인 방안이 마련되어야 한다. 셋째, 학습자들의 요구와 피드백을 위해 학습자 중심의 편의성과 심미성을 중요시하는 학습자료가 개발되어야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to improve the quality of online and offline Korean classes in order to increase the demand for Korean and to globalize Korean language education. In this study, online and offline Korean language classes were conducted for learners to compare the Korean learner’s perception of Teaching Presence. The participants of the study were 116 students from Korean language class who belonged to two different groups. One group studied in an online learning environment and the other group studied in an offline environment. Data analysis was completed using descriptive statistic analysis, correlation analysis, and hierarchical regression analysis with SPSS 21.0. In addition, in order to examine the mediating effects of the perception of Teaching Presence, the major findings from the study were as follows: The perception of Teaching Presence in the offline class proved to be more effective than in the online class. The perception of Teaching Presence is a sensation that people experience when they work with complete focus and has been validated in numerous studies as a critical component of learning. This study suggests that further development of specific teaching and learning methods should be developed in order to effectively conduct classes online. Also, in order to develop high-qualified online courses in Korean language education, we suggest the providing of training for Korean educators, and the development of software specializing in language education.
