영아기 자녀를 둔 부모의 가정어린이집 선택과정과 적응과정에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 코로나19라는 감염병 시기에 학부모들이 가정어린이집을 선택하고 적응하는 과정을 알아보는 것이다. 연구는 코로나가 시작된 2020년부터 2021년까지 경상북도 K시에 소재한 가정어린이집을 선택하고 적응과정을 겪은 학부모이다. 이들을 대상으로 본 연구에 참여 여부를 묻는 서신을 보낸 후, 연구에 참여하고자 하는 10명의 학부모를 대상으로 인터뷰를 시행하였다. 주로 직접 대면으로 심층면담을 진행하였으나, 코로나19 상황으로 인하여 대면이 어려운 경우 ZOOM(화상회의) 방식으로 면담을 진행하였다. 또한 추가적인 질문이 필요한 경우 SNS 또는 메일을 사용하였다. 본 연구를 통해서 얻어진 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 부모의 가정어린이집 선택과정은 방문하기도 전에 결정되는 요인과 방문 후 결정되는 요인으로 나누어 이루어졌다. 방문하기도 전에 결정되는 요인으로는 내 집과 가까운 어린이집, 인터넷 세상 속의 맘 카페, 이웃과 지인을 통한 결정으로 분류되어 순서대로 이루어졌다. 방문 후 결정되는 요인으로는 원장과 교사, 시설과 실내 환경이 가정어린이집을 선택하는 요인으로 나타났다. 둘째, 학부모의 적응과정은 영아의 행동특성에 따라 불안정기에서 안정기로 변화되었다. 불안정기는 코로나의 전염 가능성, 아이의 울음소리, 엄마만 찾는 아이로 인해 나타났고, 안정기는 청결한 실내 공간, 아이의 미소, 선생님을 잘 따르는 아이로 나타났다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to find out the process of parents choosing and adapting to home daycare centers during the infectious disease period called COVID-19. The study is parents who chose a home daycare center located in K-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do, from 2020 to 2021, when COVID-19 began, and went through the adaptation process. After sending letters to them asking whether they would participate in this study, interviews were conducted with 10 parents who wanted to participate in the study. We mainly had in-depth interviews in person, but due to the COVID-19 situation, If it was difficult to face-to-face, the interview was conducted through a ZOOM (video conference). In addition, if additional questions were needed, SNS or e-mail was used. The results obtained through this study are as follows. First, the parent s home daycare center selection process could be divided into factors determined before even visiting and factors determined after visiting. Factors determined before visiting were classified into daycare centers close to my house, mom cafes in the Internet world, and decisions made through neighbors and acquaintances in order. The factors determined after the visit were the director and teacher of the daycare center, facilities and indoor environment as factors for choosing a home daycare center. Second, the parents adaptation process changed from an unstable period to a stable period according to the behavioral characteristics of the infant. The unstable period was shown due to the possibility of transmission of COVID-19, the child s crying, and the child who only visits the mother, and the stable period was found to be a clean indoor space, the child s smile, and a child who follows the teacher well.
