백제의 만주기원설 검토

국문 초록

이 연구는 만주지역에 소재하고 있던 백제가 1세기대의 전후 두 차례에 걸쳐서 한강유역으로 이동해왔다는 이른바 만주백제설을 검토한 것이다. 목차를 중심으로 연구내용을 간단히 요약하면 다음과 같다. 머리말에서는 만주백제설에 대해 그것을 주장한 연구자나 비판자의 경우 상호간의 적극적인 논의가 없었던 연구현황을 지적하였다. 2장에서는 1세기경 이전에 백제가 만주지역에서 국가로서 존재하지 않았음을 언급하였다. 3장에서는 중국사거의 검토와 4세기대 만주지역의 정세분석을 통하여 4세기대에도 역시 백제가 만주에 실재하지 않았을 가능성을 밝혔다. 4장에서는 만주지역의 백제와 한강유역의 백제와의 상호관계를 정리하면서 만주지역의 백제가 국가규모의 단위로 이동해올 수 없음을, 그리고 한강유역의 백제가 오히려 만주지역의 다른 세력과의 교류가 있었음을 시기별로 확인하였다. 5장에서는 방중자료인 『후한서』 기록이나 『광개토왕비문』에 대한 분석을 통해서 그것으로써 만주백제설을 보강하기 어려움을 설명하였다. 6장에서는 만주백제서을 방중하는 문화현상으로서 다루어진 고분이나, 제도의 영향을 통해서도 만주백제설의 성립을 이야기할 수 없음을 지적하였다. 7장에서는 백제의 발전요인을 내부적인 것에서 오히려 찾을 수 있음을 설명하면서, 외부적인 요인을 크게 강조하는 만주백제설을 비판하였다. 맺음말에서는 백제사연구의 올바른 발전을 위해 새로운 가설의 끊임없는 검토과정이 연구자 모두에게 끊임없이 요구됨을 지적하였다.

영문 초록

In this study, it is considered the thought of Paekche s Origiin that from Manchurian region moved to Han river area for twice in 1st century, and 4th century. At the prologue, it is indicated the present conditions of studies about the theory of Paekche s Origin from Machuria, and the theory against them that without any positive discussion. And at the chapter 2, making mention that Paekche did not exist as a state at Manchurian region before first century. At the chapter 3, it is considered what Chinese history books recorded, and explained the possibility that Paekche did not exist in Manchuria region in 4th century, according to the analysis about a situation of Manchurian region in 4th century. At the chapter 4, arranging the relationship between Paekche in Manchurian reigon and the one in Han river region, confirming in each period about a situation of Manchurian region in 4th century. At the chapter 4, arrangng the relationship between Paekche in Manchurian region and the one in Han river region, confirming in each period about impossibility of moving of Paekche in Machurian region as state scale, and Paekche in Han river kept in touch with the other groups in Manchurian region. Ath the chapter 5, according to the analysis for Late-Han seo document and Kwanggaeto-wan stone monument , explained the difficulty to complement the theory of Paekche s origin from Manchurian region. At the chapter 6, indicated the difficulty of any stystems. At the chapter 7, it is explained about Paekche s development from inner factors and criticized of the study of Paekche s history, it is needed to indicate the researchers must investigate a process to prove a hypothesis.
