국문 초록

급성장하고 있는 뷰티산업 분야가 한층 더 발전하기 위해서는 무엇보다도 피부유형의 판별이 중요하다. 피부는 후천적 영향을 받는 기관이기는 하나 피부유형분류의 일관성을 높이기 위해서는 선천적 요인 중심의 기준이 세워져야하며, 피부와 심리의 연관성이 매우 깊다는 사실 또한 간과되어서는 안 된다. 따라서 예로부터 인체 심신간의 특성을 연구하고 관리법을 제시해온 아유르베다 체질이론을 피부유형분류에 이용할 필요가 있다. 본 연구에서는 재검사 신뢰도까지 검증된 표준화 도구 한국형아유르베다 심리유형검사(KAPTI)를 판별 기준으로 삼아 선천적 요인 중심 피부유형분류의 표준화 가능성을 알아보았다. 이를 위해 서울시에 위치한 S대학교 외국인학생반 21명에게 한국형아유르베다 심리유형검사와 아유르베다 체질이론기반의 피부유형 설문을 실시하였고 그중에서 성실치 못한 답변을 제외한 16명의 자료를 비교하여 관계성을 연구하였다. 그 결과, 피부유형에 대한 표준화 가능성이 시사되었으며, 연구대상자의 피부사진을 제공받아 사례연구를 진행함으로써 정성적 평가의 가능성도 제시되었다. 현장사용에 효율적인 측정도구 개발에 대한 시도적인 연구로 사료되며, 본 논문을 기반으로 더욱 활발한 후속 연구가 이루어지기를 기대한다.

영문 초록

In order for the rapidly growing beauty industry to develop further, it is most important to distinguish skin types. Although the skin is an organ affected by acquired factors, standards centered on congenital factors must be established to increase the consistency of skin type classification, and the fact that the relationship between skin and psychology is very deep should not be overlooked. Therefore, it is necessary to use Ayurveda constitution theory, which has long studied the characteristics of the human mind and body and suggested management methods, for skin type classification. This study aims to find out the standardization possibility of skin type classification centered on congenital factors by using the Korean Ayurveda Psychological Type Indicator(KAPTI), a standardization tool that has proven reliability of re-examination. To this end, 21 foreign students at S University located in Seoul were conducted with KAPTI and a skin type survey based on Ayurveda constitution theory, and 16 of them were compared to study the relationship. As a result, the possibility of standardization of skin types was suggested, and the possibility of qualitative evaluation was also suggested by receiving skin photos of the study subjects and conducting case studies. It is considered an attempt study on the development of an efficient measurement tool for field use, and it is expected that more active follow-up studies will be conducted based on this paper.
