국문 초록

이 논문은 요나서를 선교적 관점에서 보는 많은 학자들의 선행연구에 기인한다. 연구자에 따라서 다양하기는 하지만 요나서를 하나님의 선교(Missio Dei) 관점에서 보편적 선교, 선교의 주체 하나님, 국수주의와 보편주의, 하나님의 속성 등에 관해서 연구를 한 사람들이다. 그럼에도 요나서를 선교학적인 관점에서만 바라봄으로써 제한적인 시각으로 이해하는 아쉬움을 떨쳐버릴 수 없다. 왜냐 하면 요나서는 선교에 관한 이야기가 기록의 주된 목적이 아니라 열방을 향한 하나님의 보편적인 구원의지를 나타내는 책이기 때문이다. 요나서 해석의 주요 관점은 하나님의 주권적인 구원 역사에 있다. 그러기에 만일 선교학적인 관점이라는 제한적인 틀에서 요나서를 바라본다면 요나서가 가진 특유의 역사적, 문화적 가치를 놓치기 쉽기 때문이다. 연구자는 구약을 공부하는 사람으로서 요나서의 선교적 관점을 전제로 하되 본문이 전달하고 있는 깊은 역사적 문법적 의미를 통해서 선행연구를 더 풍부하게 하고자 한다. 다만 선교적인 관점으로만 한정하고 본문이 가진 풍부한 의미를 다각적으로 이해하지 않는다면 요나서 고유의 풍성한 의미를 이해할 수 없다고 보기 때문에 연구자는 요나서를 선교학적인 관점에서 연구한 학자들의 글을 참고하여 본문에 충실한 해석을 시도하고자 한다. 이를 위해서 2장에서는 요나서의 구조, 역사적 배경 및 역사성 문제, 그리고 요나서의 주제를 간단하게 다룬 뒤 3장에서는 선교적 관점에서 본문에 충실한 해석을 시도함으로 요나서를 더욱더 풍성하게 이해하려고 한다.

영문 초록

This paper is attributed to the prior work of many scholars who view the Book of Jonah from a missionary point of view. Although diverse, the book of Jonah has studied universal mission, God, the subject of mission, nationalism and universalism, and God s attributes from the perspective of God s Mission(Missio Dei). Nevertheless, it is hard to shake off the regret of understanding the book of Jonah from a limited perspective by looking only at him from a missional point of view. This is because the story about missionary work of the prophet Jonah is not the main purpose of the record, but a book that shows God s universal will for salvation toward all nations. The main point of view of Jonah is in the history of God s sovereign salvation. Therefore, if we look at the book of Jonah under the limited framework of missionary views, it is easy to miss the historical and cultural values of the book of Jonah. As an Old Testament scholar, the researcher presupposes missional perspective of the book of Jonah, but intends to enrich prior research through the deep historical and grammatical meaning conveyed by the text. In particular, the three concepts of the creator God s universal attributes, universal salvation plans, and God s mission is combined to interpret the theme the book of Jonah within the missional concept. To this end, I used many of the previous researchers writings and actively used annotations and papers to conduct research that was faithful to the text.
