예비교원의 다전공 이수 제도 개선 방안 탐색

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 예비교원의 다전공 이수 활성화를 위한 제도적 개선 방안을 탐색하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 교육부에서 정하고 있는 현행 제도를 분석하고, 사례 학교를 기준으로 현행 제도를 적용하여 운영 가능한 다전공 이수 유형을 분석하였다. 마지막으로 현행 제도를 사례 학교 교육과정에 대입해 보았을 때 예비교원의 다전공 이수를 활성화 할 수 있는 제도 적용 방안을 탐색하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다, 첫째, 현행 제도에서 교과교육과정 범교과적 운영의 모호성, 연계전공 이수자 선발의 제한성 등이 다전공 이수 활성화의 한계점으로 확인되었다. 둘째, 사례 학교 교육과정 분석 결과는 복수전공을 운영할 경우, 연계전공을 운영할 경우, 중복인정 학점을 상향할 경우로 나누어 살펴보았고, 연계전공을 허용하고 중복인정 학점을 상향할 경우 다전공 이수 예비교원의 부담이 가장 적은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 제도 개선 방안으로 복수전공의 경우, 동일 계열 및 연계전공 외의 다전공에서 교과교육과목 학점 이수 부담 최소화, 복수전공 이수 인원 제한 상향 조정, 연계전공의 경우 교육학, 상담, 심리학 등 동일계열 분류 및 연계전공 설치 가능 표시과목 지정 고시, 단일 학과에서 다수의 연계 전공 참여 권한 확대, 연계전공 이수자 선발 범위 확대를 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to explore ways to improve the multiple major system for pre-service teachers. For this, the current system set by the Ministry of Education was examined, and, based on cases of the object universities, the types of multiple majoring that can be operated by applying the current system were analyzed. Finally, assuming the current system is applied to the curriculum of the object universities, a system application plan that can encourage pre-service teachers to take multiple majors was explored. The results of the study are twofold. First, ambiguity in the meaning of the cross-curricular operation of curriculum and limited selection of those who have completed interdisciplinary majors were identified as limitations for invigorating the multiple major course systems. Second, the results of the analysis of curriculums of the object universities were divided into cases where multiple major courses were operated, interdisciplinary major programs were run, and scope of duplicative credit recognition were broadened. It was found that the burden of pre-service teachers was minimized when an interdisciplinary major was accepted and rate of credit recognition was increased. Third, based on the results of the study, methods to improve the system were deduced as follows; 1) In the case of a double major, it is suggested to minimize the burden of credit completion of subject education courses in multiple majors and to increase the limit on the number of people who complete double majors. 2) In the case of interdisciplinary majors, it is proposed to notify the classification categories of the same field such as education, counseling, psychology, etc., and specify the subjects that can be offered for the interdisciplinary majors, to extend the authority of a single department to operate multiple interdisciplinary major programs, and to expand the scope of selection of interdisciplinary major participants.
