유아음악교육 전문성에 관한 담론

국문 초록

본 연구는 유아음악교육 전문가 그룹을 대상으로 그들의 교수역량을 위한 준비과정과 교수과정 경험은 어떠했으며, 이들의 경험을 통해 유아음악교수자에게 필요한 전문성은 무엇인지 살펴보고자 하였다. 본 연구를 위해 4명의 유아음악교육 전공자를 대상으로 포커스 그룹 인터뷰를 5회 실시하였으며, 다면적 자료수집을 위해 연구 참여자 개인저널 5회분과 연구자 저널 5회분을 함께 수집하여 분석하였다. 연구참여자들은 유아음악교육 전공을 위한 준비과정과 교수과정에서 다양한 어려움을 경험하였는데, 중간지대로서의 전공 정체성과 학위과정에서의 외로움을 경험하였다. 유아음악 교수과정에서는 학생들의 낮은 음악학습 준비도에 대해 좌절하였으며 원격수업에서의 교수방법적 혼란과 개정누리과정과의 조화에 대해 갈등하였다. 연구참여자들은 유아음악교육 전문성을 위해 필요한 교수역량으로 이론적 역량과 모델링을 통한 실천적 역량, 교수자의 태도적 역량의 중요성을 피력하였고, 디지털 교수역량을 강조하였다. 연구참여자들은 본 연구를 진행하면서 서로의 경험을 나누며 많은 공감대를 형성하였고, 향후 유아음악교육 전문성에 대한 방향성을 제언하였다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to investigate professionals preparation for and teaching experiences of early childhood music education for pre-service teachers. It examined the professionalism of early childhood music education instructors through their experiences. The participants were four instructors who majored in early childhood music education. The study conducted group interviews five times. The data was gathered from interview transcriptions, and journals from participants and the researcher. The participants experienced difficulties during the preparation and teaching processes. They felt that they were in a grey area between early childhood education and music education. They had difficulties in writing a dissertation on early childhood music education. The participants were depressed when they met students who were not focused on their musical learning preparation. They confused instructional strategies for in online classes and how to coordinate music to the new Nuri curriculum effectively. The participants thought about the importance of musical elements, concepts, and attitudes as teaching competencies and expertise for pre-service teachers. Also, they emphasized the importance of modeling for music activities, digital instructional competencies, and enjoyable experiences with the music itself. They came to a consensus by sharing their experiences and suggested future directions for early childhood music education expertise.
