노인의 평생교육 및 취미오락 프로그램 참여가 삶의 만족에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 대한민국 사회정책적으로 중요한 이슈로 부상하고 있는 노인 복지와 관련하여, 노년기 활동으로 가능한 평생교육, 취미오락 프로그램, 봉사활동 등이 삶의 만족과 어떠한 관계가 있는지 파악하고 이를 통해 노인 복지 차원에서 유의미한 제도적인 측면의 시사점을 제시하는 것이다. 실증분석 결과는 다음과 같았다. 평생교육과 삶의 만족의 관계에서 봉사활동의 조절효과 분석를 파악한 결과, 평생교육 참여가 투입된 제2 모형은 통계적으로 유의한 것으로 나타났다(𝐹 = 282.128, 𝑝 < .001). 변수의 영향력에서는 평생교육 참여가 삶의 만족과 유의한 정적(+) 관계에 놓여져있는 것으로 나타났다(𝑡 = 3.442, 𝑝 < .001). 취미오락 프로그램과 삶의 만족의 관계에서 봉사활동의 조절효과를 파악한 결과, 취미오락 프로그램 참여가 투입된 제2 모형은 통계적으로 유의한 것으로 나타났다(𝐹 = 280.770, 𝑝 < .001). 변수의 영향력에서는 취미오락 프로그램 참여가 삶의 만족과 유의한 정적(+) 관계에 놓여져 있는 것으로 나타났다(𝑡 = 2.167, 𝑝 < .05). 이를 바탕으로 보면 노인의 삶의 만족 수준을 높이기 위해서는 복지차원에서 평생교육과 취미오락 프로그램 참여를 장려해야할 필요성이 대두된다.

영문 초록

The purposes of the research are : regarding the welfare of the elderly, which is emerging as an important social policy issue in Korea, 1) to understand how lifelong education, entertainment programs, and volunteering which are activities in old age are related to life satisfaction and 2) through this, to present significant institutional implications for the welfare of the elderly. The results of the empirical analysis were as follows. As a result of identifying the moderating effect of volunteering in the relationship between lifelong education and life satisfaction, the second model into which lifelong education participation was input was statistically significant(𝐹 = 282.128, 𝑝 < .001). In the influence of variables, it was found that participation in lifelong education had a significant positive (+) relationship with life satisfaction(𝑡 = 3.442, 𝑝 < .001). As a result of identifying the moderating effect of volunteering in the relationship between entertainment programs and life satisfaction, the second model into which entertainment program participation was input was statistically significant(𝐹 = 280.770, 𝑝 < .001). In the influence of variables, it was found that participation in entertainment program had a significant positive (+) relationship with life satisfaction(𝑡 = 2.167, 𝑝 < .05). Based on this, in order to increase the level of life satisfaction of the elderly, there is a need to encourage participation in lifelong education and hobby entertainment programs in welfare.
