영문 초록

This research analyses the distinctive usage of personal pronouns and a zero pronoun, based on pragmatic parameters such as word order, tense and aspect of adjacent discourse units. The context, in which the subject of introducing utterance (Un) reappears as a subject in its following utterance (Un+1), is also considered as a subtype of Continue ＜Cb(Un) = Cb(Un+1) with ＜Cb(Un-1) = [?]＞. In Russian fairy tales a subject of a topic-introducing utterance (Un) takes a zero anaphora in the following utterance Un+1 as frequently as a personal pronoun. However, in anecdotes a zero anaphora occurs more frequently than a personal pronoun in Un+1 preceded by a topic-introducing utterance . As for a zero anaphora, the aspect and/or the tense over Un, Un+1 doesn t always appear the same. Especially in anecdotes historical present and VS Un are frequently observed in case of zero anaphora Un+1. This is accounted for by the strengthened local coherence of VS introducing utterance and is motivated by the fact that a zero anaphora functions as a marker of thematic continuity . In this case a sequence of actions is already presupposed with a zero anaphora, thus tense and aspect can be used as a marker of a historical present . But this usage of tense and aspect is not observed in Un+1 with a personal pronoun anaphora, and VS Un seldom precedes a personal pronoun anaphora.
