국문 초록

艮齋 田愚(1841~1922)는 조선의 근간이 붕괴되고, 대내외적으로 혼란이 가중되는 시대를 살았던 학자이다. 記 66편을 지어 자신의 견해를 피력해 놓았다. 기문을 통하여 구한말 당시 인물들의 삶의 양상과 시대에 대한 인식, 태도, 학문관 등 그에 대한 인식을 살펴볼 수 있다. 간재가 일제의 소리가 들리지 않는 西海의 외딴 孤島를 展轉한 까닭은 간재에게 있어서 垂敎는 무너져가는 나라를 일으켜 세우고 민족정기를 확립하는 일이자, 儒者로서의 常道로 도학을 계승하는 일이다고 생각 하였던 것이다. 결국 나라를 부지하고 일제의 강점으로부터 벗어날 수 있는 방법은 도학의 계승과 유지로 결론지었다. 또한 간재 철학의 중심이라 할 수 있는 誠과 敬을 범인이 모범으로 삼아야할 궁극의 도덕적 표준으로 제시하였다. 간재는 기록할만한 일이 있으면 기록으로 남겨 후인들에게 권장하는 것도 記의 기능 중 하나라고 여겼다. 전우가 저술한 기문은 구한말 혼란 속에서 지식인들이 지녀야할 의식의 지향점을 제시함으로써 당시 지식인들이 나아가야 할 방향을 보여주고 있다는 점을 확인할 수 있었다.

영문 초록

GanJae JeonU(1841~1922) is the scholar who lived the life of domestic and foreign confusing era losing foundation of the country Chosun. At the peculiar situation of the era under the colonial administration of imperial Japan, the Japanese Empire suppressed the many Chosun intellectuals, trying to deter them from EonRo. Ganjae s MunJib consists of ｢GanJaeJib｣ 57works and ｢ChuDamByulJib｣ 4works, reaching total 61 works. GanJae wrote Seo to 12 works and another Seo to 74, Jeon to 14, Gi to 66. Especially, Gi is included in the former 16 works and the following 5. Ganjae wrote the second more Gi of 66 works than Jeon, claiming his opinions powerfully. As we can see the surveyed total Gee, JeongRyerGee reaches to 9works, SeoJaeGee 57. Given the classification of GiMun, it is so monotonous that it can be underestimated, but it is competitive to include variable contents. GanJae s GiMun was written on the basis of bond with acquaintances. Thus, we can not only check his perception about people s thoughts, attitudes, academic views but also identify his worry about a source in the gloomy reality. In this manuscript by making a general overview of the total GiMun and analysing the main works, I are to check the aspect and the feature of GanJae SanMun. Gi is the writing to record the fact and the form of prose excluding the fiction, looking on the fact important. Over the function of Gi, GanJae s goal was recording the fact and then showing descendants it so making them do ChungHyulJeolYul ; recommending it to them, making them alerting. He didn t let Si finished in recording dimension but thought if there was something to record, after recording it and then making descendants know was the one of Gi s functions. At this point of view, I intend to divide Gi into the feature about its description, GiMun s contents and meanings.
