국문 초록

시간관리의 핵심은 중요한 것을 중요하게 관리하는 것이다. “중요한 것”은 무엇(What)에 관한 것이며, “중요하게 관리한다”는 것은 어떻게(How)에 관한 것이다. 시간관리에 관한 연구들은 많지만, 거시적 관점에서 인생 전체를 바라보고 설계된 시간관리모형에 관한 연구는 미흡한 실정이다. 본 연구는 인생을 거시적 관점에서 파악하는 시간관리모형에 BSC의 틀(framework)을 적용할 수 있는 이론적 기초를 마련하기 위한 탐색적 연구이다. 본 연구는 목표의 상위개념으로 미션과 비전을 도입함으로써 거시적인 관점에서 목표에 대한 평가를 시도하였으며, 관점(perspective)의 개념을 도입함으로써 균형잡힌 지표를 가진 시간관리모형을 제안하였다. 탐색적 연구의 한계로 인해 충분한 실증자료를 제시할 수 없다는 점이 본 연구의 한계이며, 앞으로의 연구를 통해서 보완되어야 할 것이다. 본 연구는 회계학의 새로운 연구 분야를 제안하였다는 점에 그 의미가 있다고 본다.

영문 초록

The core of time management is in how to manage what’s important. There are many research studies dealing with time management. However, there has been little research on time management which was developed to observe life from its macro-perspectives. This research is an exploratory study which tries to apply BSC framework into time management model of macro-perspectives of life. The study introduced meta-concepts of mission and vision in evaluating aims and goals from macro-perspectives while proposing a time management model with balanced scorecards. Since its introduction in 1992, BSC(Balanced Scorecard) has expanded into new management with the potential of improving organizational performance. The primary purpose of this study was to develop a personal time management model using this BSC. This study advocates use of BSC framework in order to achieve effectiveness and efficiency in time management. It is expected that this study will contribute to finding new areas in accounting research.
