조선후기 향촌사회 科詩 창작 一考

국문 초록

본고는 『科賦抄』에 대한 소개와, 이를 통해 조선후기 향촌사회 科詩 창작의 실상을 파악하기 위한 목적으로 작성되었다. 『과부초』의 편찬자는 불분명하나, 수록된 작가 및 소장처 등을 고려했을 때 19세기 영남지역 科詩選集임을 파악하였다. 『과부초』의 특징은 수록된 대부분 작품의 試題가 『古文眞寶』 산문을 대상으로 하였다는 점이다. 이러한 특징을 확인하기 위해 본론에서는 歐陽修의 醉翁亭記 를 대상으로 한 작품을 형식과 내용으로 나누어 분석하였다. 그 결과 『과부초』는 문예적 취향보다 습작에 가깝다는 점을 확인하였다. 다만, 영남지역 문인의 과시를 선집하여 제작한 사실만으로도 공유의 의도가 내재되어 있다는 점을 고려했을 때 문예적 취향의 가능성도 배제할 수는 없다. 아울러 醉翁亭記 와 같은 특정 작품을 통해 과시를 습작하였다는 것은 講經에 집중하였던 향촌사회에서 製述과 관련된 일단을 구체적으로 확인할 수 있다는 점에서 의의를 지닌다.

영문 초록

This study aims to introduce 『GwaBuCho(科賦抄)』 and understand the reality of poetry writing for the civil examination of the local society in the late Joseon dynasty. The compiler of 『GwaBuCho(科賦抄)』 is unclear, but considering included authors and a holding institution, it is identified that 『GwaBuCho(科賦抄)』 is a collection of poetry for the civil examination in Youngnam region in the nineteenth century. The characteristic of 『GwaBuCho(科賦抄)』 is that questions for the examination of the works were mostly from proses of 『Gomunjinbo(古文眞寶)』. In order to confirm these characteristics, this study analyzes works based on OuyangXiu s ChwiOngJeongGi(醉翁亭記) by dividing into forms and contents. As a result, it confirms that 『GwaBuCho(科賦抄)』 is a collection for practicing writing rather than a book for a literary taste. However, the fact that this book selected poetry for the civil examination of intellectuals from the Yeongnam region shows a intention of sharing. Through this fact, the possibility of pursuing a literary taste also cannot be excluded. In addition, the fact that poetry was written based on a specific work such as ChwiOngJeongGi(醉翁亭記) in order to practice the civil examination shows the aspect related to JeSul(製述) of the local society, which usually focused on GangGyeong(講經).
