국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 국내외 초등학생 학업중단 예방 프로그램의 특징을 분석하고, 이를 토대로 초등학생 학업중단 예방 및 대안교실 프로그램의 영역 및 내용을구성하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 내용분석을 토대로 초등학생 학업중단 예방 관련 국내프로그램 25개 사례와 국외 10개 사례의 특징을 분석하였다. 분석 절차는 1)관련 개념을 정의하고, 2)각 사례를 학업중단 위험요인, 보호요인 및 내용을 기준으로 분석한후, 3)세부 프로그램 내용을 중학생 학업중단 예방 및 대안교실 프로그램 영역에 따라분류하였다. 분석결과를 토대로 초등학생 학업중단 예방 및 대안교실 프로그램은 저학년과 고학년으로 나누어 치유와 성찰, 공동체적 관계, 자기조절, 진로 및 자기계발의네 영역으로 구성하였다. 또한 각 영역의 세부 프로그램 내용을 정리하고 이를 토대로도출할 수 있는 시사점을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics of domestic and foreign elementary school dropout prevention programs and, based on this, to compose the areas and contents of elementary school dropout prevention and alternative classroom programs. For this purpose, the characteristics of 25 domestic programs and 10 overseas cases related to the prevention of school dropout in elementary school students were analyzed through content analysis. There were three main analysis procedures: 1) defining related concepts, 2) analyzing each case based on risk factors, protective factors, and program contents for school dropout, and 3) classifying detailed program contents according to the program areas of prevention of school dropout and alternative classroom programs for middle school students. Based on the analysis results, the elementary school dropout prevention and alternative classroom programs were divided into those for the lower and upper grades of elementary school and were consisted of four areas: healing and reflection, communal relationships, self-regulation, and career and self-development. In addition, detailed program contents for each area were categorized and implications that could be drawn from them were discussed.
