1740~1753년에 제작된 운보문 어보 보자기의 문양에 대한 고찰

국문 초록

동일 운보문의 어보 보자기 10점을 대상으로 제작 시기를 밝히고 교란 여부를 파악한 결과는다음과 같다. 문양이 동일한 어보 보자기 10점은 어보보 6점, 보통보 4점이었다. 어보 보자기의 운보문의 보문은 일상 보문 8종이었으며 ‘정하 운보문 판독법’으로 판독한 결과, 【금정·전보-보주-첩승·전보-산호-우향/좌향-여의두·서보-산호-서각·서보-보주】으로 파악되었다. 『의궤』와 『종묘책보등록』에서 10점의 어보에 사용한 직물 기록과 유물을 비교해 본 결과, 1740년·1747년 숙종비 인원왕후 옥보 어보보 2점·보통보 2점과 1753년 숙종·숙종비 인원왕후금보의 어보보 2점 등 6점은 교란되지 않은 반면에 ❶ 1705년 도조비 경순왕후 보통보 ❽ 1800년정조 어보보와 ❾ 1816년 헌경왕후 인통보(보통보), ❿ 1892년 선조 어보보 4점이 교란된 것임을확인하였다. 어보 보자기 유물과 유사한 영조대의 교명과 옥책의, 옥책함에 사용된 운보문을 비교한 결과, 분석 대상의 운보문 어보 보자기는 1740년 이후 1753년 사이에 제작된 어보 보자기로 판명되었다. 『의궤』와 『종묘책보등록』을 통해 어보 제작 시기와 보자기 직물 기록을 살펴본 결과, 교란된 4 점은 1740년 7월(어보 170-1)과 1752년에 제작된 숙종비 인원왕후 옥보(어보 173-1)의 어보보와보통보일 가능성을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The following is the result of examination and analysis of ten pieces of royal-seal wrapping fabrics of the same cloud-treasure pattern to identify the production period and possible disturbance. The ten pieces of royal seal-wrapping cloth with the same pattern includes six pieces of royal seal-fabrics and four pieces of general cloth. There were eight types of the royal seal- wrapping cloth s cloud-treasure pattern, which were identified, by way of the jeongha-unbomun pattern-reading method, Geumjeong and Jeonbo - Boju - Cheupseung and Jeongbo - Sanho - Rightward/Leftward-Yeouidu·Seobo-Sanho-Seogak and Seobo - Boju”. The comparison of the record of fabric used for those ten pieces of royal seal wrapping cloth as described in Uigwe and Jongmyo Shrine Book Register with their actual artifacts has shown that six pieces including Okbo royal seal-cloth of Queen Inwon, the queen consort of King Sukjong (2p) and common cloth (2p), and King Sukjong and his Queen Inwon s golden royal seal-cloth in 1753 (2p) were not disturbed. On the other hand, it was confirmed that four pieces of royal seal-fabrics, such as ❷ the common cloth of Queen Gyeongsun, the wife of Dojo in 1705, ❾ King Jeongjo s Royal seal-wrapping cloth in 1800, ❿ Queen Hunkyung s intong-cloth (common cloth) in 1816, and ❿ King Seonjo s royal seal wrapping cloth in 1892, were disturbed. By examining the fabric records of royal seals through Uigwe, and the Jongmyo Shrine Book Register, this study was able to discover and determine the possible use of those four disturbed pieces. Furthermore, by comparing the cloud treasure-patterns, Unbomun used in Gyomyung (educational order), Okcheckeui (jade book cloth-cover), and Okcheckham (jade book case), this study could confirm that the cloud treasure patterns of the royal seal-wrapping cloth, which was the subject of this analysis, were made between 1740 and 1753. This study has suggested that based on the records of Uigwe, and Jongmyo Shrine Book Register, as well as examination of Okcheckeui (jade book cloth-cover), and Okcheckham (jade book case) inner cover etc. the royal seal fabrics might be correctly placed if we replace Queen Inwon s jade royal seal cloth and common fabrics in July 1740 and in 1752, respectively, with the four pieces of disturbed fabrics.
