택배 서비스노동자의 체험에 관한 현상학적 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 최근, 사회 문제화 되어 있는 한국의 택배 서비스노동자에 관한 연구로 연구목적은 택배 서비스노동자를 이해하여 그들의 삶의 질 향상에 기여하는 것이다. 연구목적을 달성하기 위한 연구방법으로는 현상학적 질적연구방법을 원용하였다. 자료 수집은연구참여자의 1대1 심층면담의 방법을 취하였으며 그 후, 택배 서비스노동자가 체험한 노동의 의미와 본질을 분석하였다. 연구결과 ‘일을 해서 잘 살고 싶음’, ‘열악한 근무환경과조건’, ‘사람답게 살 수 있는 세상 만들기’라는 3개의 본질적 주제와 10개의 드러난 주제가 도출되었다. 연구결과를 바탕으로 한 제언은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 국가는 기업과 대리점그리고 노동자들이 계급에 차별 없는 공정한 노동, 안전을 담보 할 수 있는 노동, 인권이존중되는 노동이 될 수 있는 방안을 모색하고 관리 감독해야 함을 제언했다. 둘째, 노동자들이 연대하여 자신의 목소리를 낼 수 있는 조합이나 협회를 만들어야 함을 제언했다. 셋째, 현재의 등록제 보다는 택배 서비스노동자들을 아우르고 안전망 역할을 하는 인증제를 도입하기를 제언했다. 넷째, 택배 서비스노동자들에게 노동의 강도를 줄여주는 역할을하는 지역공동 우편함 설치를 제언했다.

영문 초록

As a study on Korean workers engaged in the courier industry, which has become a social issue, the purpose of this study is to understand this and contribute to improving their quality of life. As a research method to achieve the research purpose, data were collected from one-on-one in-depth interviews with research participants and the meaning and nature of labor of courier service workers were analyzed using phenomenological research methods. As a result of the study, three essential themes as followings: I want to live well by working , Poor working environment and conditions , Creating a world where I can live like a human being“ and 10 revealed themes were derived. Suggestions based on the research results are as follows. First, it was suggested that the state should intervene through management and supervision to ensure that companies, agencies, and workers do fair work without class discrimination, work that can guarantee safety, and work that respects human rights. Second, it was suggested that workers should create a union or association where they can speak out in solidarity. Third, rather than the current registration system, it was suggested to introduce a certification system that encompasses courier service workers and acts as a safety net. Fourth, it was suggested to install a local common mailbox that plays a role in reducing the intensity of labor for courier service workers.
