교사의 발달 단계에 따른 교사 효능감, 적응 유연성, 심리적 소진의 차이

국문 초록

본 연구는 교사의 발달 단계, 교사 효능감, 적응 유연성과 심리적 소진이 어떤 관계가 있는지 규명하기 위한 것이다. 이를 위하여 교사 230명을 대상으로 교사 발달 단계, 교사 효능감, 적응 유연성, 심리적 소진을 측정하였다. 교사들의 발달 단계에 따른 적응 유연성과 교사 효능감, 심리적 소진의 차이를 알아보기 위해 일원변량분석을 하였다. 또한 적응 유연성과 교사 효능감이 심리적 소진에 미치는 영향을 알아보았다. 그 결과 교사 발달 단계에 따라 심리적 소진은 차이가 나지 않았으며, 적응 유연성과 교사 효능감은 교사 발달 단계에 따라 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 적응 유연성과 교사 효능감 간에 유의한 정적 상관이 있었으며, 적응 유연성과 심리적 소진은 부적 상관을 보였으나, 교사 효능감과 심리적 소진은 유의한 상관관계가 나타나지 않았다. 또한, 지각된 적응 유연성과 교사 효능감에 따라 심리적 소진에 어떠한 차이가 있는지 살펴본 결과 심리적 소진에 대한 적응 유연성의 주효과만이 통계적으로 유의하였다. 적응 유연성과 교사 효능감의 하위요인이 심리적 소진에 미치는 영향에 대해 단계적 중다회귀분석을 실시한 결과 유의미한 설명력을 나타냈다. 본 연구의 결과 적응 유연성이 심리적 소진에 중요한 영향을 미치는 개인내적 변인임을 확인하였다. 연구결과를 바탕으로 교사의 소진에 대처할 수 있는 방안에 대한 시사점과 본 연구의 제한점 및 후속 연구를 위한 제언에 대한 논의가 이루어졌다.

영문 초록

The purpose of present study was to investigate the difference of teacher s burnout, teacher efficacy, and resilience by Korean primary and secondary school teachers career stages. Data were collected from two hundred and thirty primary and secondary school teachers in Seoul, and Kyungki-do, the following inventories were surveyed: Maslach Burnout Inventory(MBI), Teacher Career Cycle Model(TCCM), Teacher Efficacy Scale, and Ego-Resilience Scale(ER). The results indicated that teacher s ego-resilience and efficacy were significantly different by the teacher s career stages. The results also indicated that significant positive correlations between teacher s ego-resilience and teacher efficacy; significant negative correlations between teacher s ego-resilience and burnout. However, there was no significant relationship between teacher s efficacy and burnout. Findings from this study also provide that main effect of teacher s ego-resilience on burnout. Those with high level of ego-resilience had significantly lower level of burnout than those with low level of ego-resilience. There was no interaction effect between level of ego-resilience and teacher efficacy on burnout. The results of the stepwise multiple regression showed that only ego-resilience s unique contribution to the prediction of teacher s burnout significantly. The results of this study confirmed that teacher s ego-resilience was the important intrapsychic factor affecting on burnout. Based on these results, implications of the effect of ego-resilience on burnout were discussed. Limitations of this study and the suggestions were suggested for the further research.
