중등교사의 사회적 지지 기술 훈련 프로그램 개발

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 최근 들어 심각해져가고 있는 중고등학생들의 정신건강 문제 예방을 위하여 중등교사의 사회적 지지 기술 훈련 프로그램을 구안하고 그 효과를 검증하는 것이다. 이를 위해 선행연구들을 바탕으로 프로그램의 구안 방향을 설정하였고, 중등교사 147명과 중고등학생 215명을 대상으로 요구조사를 실시하였다. 그리고 교사에게 중고등학생의 스트레스와 교사의 사회적 지지의 중요성을 이해시키고, 교사의 정서적 지지 기술.평가적 지지 기술.정보적 지지 기술을 향상시키는 것을 프로그램의 목표 및 내용으로 하여 예비프로그램을 구안하였으며, 전문가들로부터 내용타당도 검증을 받았다. 이렇게 최종 구안된 교사의 사회적 지지 기술 훈련 프로그램을 D시에 근무하는 중등교사 10명을 실험집단으로, 4주에 걸쳐 주 2회기씩 프로그램을 적용하였다. 통제집단은 동수의 중등교사로 구성되었다. 프로그램의 효과는 교사가 지각한 사회적 지지 사전-사후 점수를 혼합변량분석(Mixed ANOVA)으로 분석하였다. 그 결과, 중등교사의 사회적 지지 기술을 향상시키는데 효과적임이 밝혀졌다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to develop a teacher training program to increase their social support skills and to examine the effectiveness of the program. Based on the literature review and the analysis of 147 teachers and 215 students needs, a pilot program was created. It consisted of the activities to increase the level of teachers social support. Validity of the program was evaluated by school counseling related experts. The final program was developed to achieve the following goals: (a) understanding the importance of teachers social support for middle and high school students and (b) developing teachers emotional appraisal and informational support skills. 10 middle and high school teachers, the experiment group of this study, participated in a 8 session program, while another 10 volunteered for the ‘control group’. Pre- and post-test were conducted for both groups and analyzed using the repeated measures Mixed ANOVA. There were significant changes in the experiment group regarding their perceived social support skills, which implies that the teacher training program developed for this study was effective. More implications and limitations of the study were discussed.
