국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 국민들의 생명과 건강을 지키기 위한 노력 중 하나로 고려되어야 하는 혈액기부교육의 의미와 필요성을 밝히고, 혈액기부교육의 내용요소를 고등학교 교과 교육과정에 반영하는 방안을 모색하는 데에 있다. 혈액기부교육이란 ‘수혈이 필요한 환자를 돕거나 의약품 제조에활용되는 혈장 성분을 제공하기 위해, 건강한 시민들이 대가없이 자신의 혈액을 자발적이고 지속적으로 기부하려는 성향을 기르게 하는 활동’이다. 우리나라에서는 고령화 인구의 증가로 인해 혈액의 사용량은 계속 증가하지만, 저출산 문제의 심화로 인해 혈액기부가 가능한 인구는 2020년을기점으로 점차 감소할 것으로 전망된다. 이는 시민들이 자신의 건강을 유지하는 데에 위험요인이될 수 있다. 따라서 국가는 혈액기부교육을 실시하여 시민들이 혈액기부 활동에 자발적이고 지속적으로 참여할 수 있도록 유도해야 한다. 학교 민주주의의 주체이자 미래의 예비 시민인 학생들은학교 혈액기부교육을 통해 졸업 이후에도 지속적으로 혈액기부를 하려는 성향을 기를 수 있다. 학교 혈액기부교육의 내용요소는 일반인들의 혈액기부 활동에 영향을 주는 요인들을 근거로 하여지식, 기능, 가치/태도 측면으로 나누어 선정하였다. 그리고 교과의 특성을 고려하고 학생들의 이해와 학습의 전이를 중요하게 여기며 능동적인 학습과정과 내면화를 강조한 Bruner의 전․후기이론을 기초로 하여 『사회과』 ,『과학과』 , 『교양과』, 『도덕과』에서의 혈액기부교육 내용요소 반영방안을 제시하였다. 학교 교과 내에서의 혈액기부교육에서는 별도의 교과나 단원을 설정하기에는한계가 있기 때문에 과목의 성취기준과 연계하여 실시할 때 효과적으로 구현될 수 있다. 이러한교과별 혈액기부교육을 통해 학생들은 혈액기부교육의 내용요소에서 강조하는 개념 및 원리를 탐구하고 내면화하여 혈액기부 활동의 필요성을 인식하고 참여의 두려움을 줄이며 혈액기부에 참여하고자 하는 의지를 고취시킬 수 있을 것이다

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to clarify the meaning and necessity of blood donation education, which should be considered as one of today s efforts to protect citizen s life and health in the age of low fertility and an aging society, and to discern how to include blood donation education in a high school curriculum. Blood donation education is an activity that allows healthy citizens to develop their own tendency to donate their blood voluntarily and continuously to help patients who need blood transfusions or provide blood plasma components used in the manufacture of medicines. In Korea, blood use continues to increase due to the growing aging population, But the population that can donate blood is expected to gradually decrease from 2020 due to the deepening of low fertility problems. This can be a risk factor for citizens to maintain their lives and health. Therefore, the state should provide blood donation education so that citizens can participate in blood donation activities voluntarily and continuously. The contents of the blood donation education in schools were selected in terms of knowledge, function, value/attitude, based on factors that affect the blood donation activities of ordinary people. And based on J. S. Bruner s earlier and later theory, which takes into account the characteristics of the curriculum and places importance on the transfer of students understanding and learning, and emphasizes active learning processes and internalization. Through these blood donation education classes, students will be able to inquiry and internalize the concepts and principles that are emphasized in the content elements of blood donation education to recognize the need for blood donation activities, reduce the fear of participation, and encourage their willingness to participate in blood donation.
