국문 초록

이 연구는 학교 밖 청소년의 사회적 낙인감이 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향과 자아 탄력성의 매개효과 검증을 목적으로 했다. 이를 위해 한국청소년정책연구원(NYPI)에서 수행한 ‘학업중단 청소년 패널 조사 및 지원방안 연구’ 및 ‘학교 밖 청소년 이행경로에 따른 맞춤형 대책연구’의 5차년도(2017년) 자료에 참여한 학교 밖 청소년 318명을 연구대상으로 했다. 연구 검증을 위하여 SPSS 23 통계프로그램과 AMOS 23 통계프로그램을 활용하여 기술통계, 상관관계 분석, 확인적 요인분석, 구조분석을 실시했다. 설정된 모형에 대한 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학교 밖 청소년이 인식하는 사회적 낙인감은 자아 탄력성, 삶의 만족도와의 관계에서 각각 유의한 부적 영향을 미쳤다. 다음으로 자아 탄력성은 삶의 만족도에 유의한 정적 영향을 미쳤다. 마지막으로 학교 밖 청소년의 자아 탄력성은 사회적 낙인감이 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향을 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구 결과를 토대로 학교 밖 청소년의 삶의 만족도의 중요성을 고찰하고, 학교 밖 청소년에 대한 긍정적 사회 인식 및 자아 탄력성을 증진할 수 있는 방안을 논의하고자 했다.

영문 초록

The purpose of the present study is to verify how social stigma experienced by out-of-school adolescents impacts life satisfaction, and the mediating effect of ego-resilience. For this purpose, a study was conducted on 318 out-of-school adolescents who participated in the 5th year data of ‘Longitudinal Survey and Support Plan for Dropouts’ and ‘Study on Customized Measures in accordance with the Transition Paths of Out-of-School Adolescents’ conducted by the National Youth Policy Institute(NYPI). The study conducted descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, and structural analysis by using the SPSS 23 statistics program and the AMOS 23 statistics program with the purpose of verifying the research results. The analysis results for the established model are as follows. First, the social stigma perceived by out-of-school adolescents had a significantly negative impact on ego-resilience and life satisfaction respectively. Next, ego-resilience had a significantly positive impact on life satisfaction. Lastly, the ego-resilience of out-of-school adolescents appeared to mediate the impact of social stigma on life satisfaction. Based on these research results, the study attempted to examine the importance of life satisfaction for out-of-school adolescents and discuss plans for promoting a positive social perception and ego-resilience for out-of-school adolescents.
