국문 초록

모든 공간은 인간의 필요성이나 호기심에 의해 존재가 가능하게 된다. ‘가보고 싶다’라는 감정적 욕구는 그 공간을 통해 결핍된 요소를 채우고자 하는 욕구가 충족될 것이라는 예측 또는 충족되었던 과거의 기억에 기반을 둔 개인적 감성에서 출발한다. 본 연구는 모든 공간은 서사를 기반으로 구성되어 있으므로 공간의 구성은 서사구조를 기반으로 한 공간디자인 연출을 고려해야 한다는 측면에서 시작한다. 특히 최근 공동묘지의 추모공원화 및 복합문화공간으로의 발전적 모습이 대두되고 있기 때문에 죽음과 삶을 연결하는 국립묘지에 대한 공간 서사구조를 평가 분석하였다. 평가 방법은 본인의 학위논문에서 사용된 공간의 서사구조 디자인평가표를 사용하였다. 평가결과 국립묘지에 대한 인식은 아직까지 단순 공동묘지로써 죽은 자만을 위한 공간이었으며, 국가의 상징적 위상을 높이고 국가를 위해 죽은 자들을 애도하며 산 자들의 삶 속에서 죽음을 기억하도록 하는 구조적 장치나 요소들은 없는 것으로 평가되었다.

영문 초록

All spaces are made possible by human necessity or curiosity. The emotional desire of I want to go starts with a prediction that the desire to fill the missing element through the space will be satisfied, or a personal emotion based on the past memories that have been satisfied. This study starts from the aspect that all spaces are composed of narratives, so the composition of spaces should take into account the directing of spatial design based on narrative structure. In particular, since the development of a cemetery as a memorial park and a complex cultural space has recently emerged, the spatial narrative structure of the national cemetery that connects death and life was evaluated and analyzed. The evaluation method used the design evaluation table of the narrative structure of the space used in his thesis. As a result of the evaluation, the recognition of the national cemetery was still only a space for the dead as just a cemetery, and a structural device or element that raises the symbolic status of the country, mourns the dead for the country, and remembers the death in the lives of the living were evaluated as absent.
