국문 초록

법조타운은 인간관계에서 벌어지는 다툼과 범죄를 해결하여 건전한 사회환경을 유지하는데 중요한 시설들이 모여 단지를 이루는 도시의 중요 영역으로 발전하고 있다. 보통 서구의 법조타운은 도심 다운타운에 위치하며 법원(검찰청), 도심복합형 구치소, 경찰서, 행정관청 등으로 이루어진 행정시설들이 집적의 효과, 규모의 경제화 효과, 신속 및 효율성 등의 이유로 단지화를 이루어 계획되어 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 법조타운의 구성요소 및 구성방법론을 분석하여 효과적인 배치방법론을 제시하는 것이다. 특히 미국의 사례를 중심으로 연구를 진행하고자 한다. 이 과정에서 시설의 특성상 많은 사람들이 편리하게 이용하면서 한편으로 보안시설이기도 한 시설들의 상반되는 기능들을 동시에 만족시킬 수 있는 건축계획 방법론에 대해서 분석하도록 한다. 도심복합 구치소는 도시에서 혐오시설이지만 사법절차의 신속함과 효율성을 위해 꼭 필요한 시설로서 적합한 접근과 통제가 동시에 이루어져야 하는 시설이다. 도심의 법조타운에서 접근성이 용이하면서 동시에 명확하고 안전한 안전의 확보와 리스크를 통제하기 위해서는 상반된 니즈의 기능을 원활하게 수행하기 위해서는 배치부문에 있어서 특별한 솔루션과 건축방법론이 필요하다.

영문 초록

In human history of cities, there has been consturcted simbolic area of athority and control for solving and serving various needs and problems between human relations. For these reasons, with the administrative area, certain institutions have been arranged for control and administration service. Most of these institutions have been taken place of location of centered-simbolic area and accessible convinient area. Legal town is important area in urban context, which sustains the sound and safe social conditions and curcumstances for solving problems and crimes between human relations. Usually, western legal town is located in downtown of metropolise, which is composed of court of law, prosector’s office, police station, administartion office, and urban detention center and so on, which makes efficiency and synergy each other for fast and effective process. The purpose of this is to suggest the effective arrangement methodologies through analysing the composing elements of the legal town. Especially, in this process, this study will analyse satisfying methodologies for opposition, which is security and access-convenient function in the same time.
