국문 초록

본 연구는 농촌 1인 가구의 삶의 만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하기 위한 목적으로 수행되었다. 이를 위해 ˹전라북도 농촌 1인 가구 실태와 삶의 만족도˼ 자료의 총 367명의 데이터가 분석에 활용되었다. 다중회귀분석을 실시한 연구의 주요결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 인구사회학적 특성에서는 연령, 학력수준, 혼인상태에 따라 삶의 만족도에 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 건강상태에서는 질병으로 인한 병원방문 빈도, 우울이 삶의 만족도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 가족 및 사회관계에서는 위급시 도움요청 대상 유무, 가족과의 만남 빈도가 삶의 만족도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 경제상태에서는 고용상태, 월평균 소득, 주관적 계층의식이 삶의 만족도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 여가활동에서는 여가시간 충분도가 삶의 만족도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과를 토대로 농촌 1인 가구의 삶의 만족도를 향상시킬 수 있는 다양한 정책방향을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to identify predictors of life satisfaction among one-person households in rural area. We used data from the ˹Living Conditions and Life Satisfaction among One-person Households in Jeollabuk-do˼, and a total of 367 cases were used in the analyses. The main results from the multiple regression analysis are as follows. First, in terms of socio-demographic characteristics, life satisfaction differed according to age, education level, and marital status. Second, in terms of health status, the frequency of hospital visits and depression were associated with life satisfaction. Third, in terms of family and social relationships, the frequency of meeting with the family and having someone to request for help in case of an emergency were associated with life satisfaction. Fourth, in terms of economic status, employment status, monthly average income, and subjective class were associated with life satisfaction. Fifth, in terms of leisure activities, sufficient leisure time was associated with life satisfaction. Based on these results, policy implications were suggested to improve the life satisfaction of one-person households in rural areas.
