생존분석을 활용한 발달장애인의 고용유지 영향 요인 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 발달장애인의 고용유지에 미치는 영향 요인을 탐색하는 것에 목적이 있다. 한국장애인고용공단에서 발표한 2020년 발달장애인 일과 삶 실태조사 자료 중 463명의 응답 결과를 활용하였으며, 인구사회학적 요인, 장애 요인, 고용환경 요인, 인적자본 요인으로 구성한 후 생존분석을실시하였다. 분석결과 남성일수록, 연령이 낮을수록, 직업재활시설에서 근무할수록, 월평균 임금이높을수록, 발달장애인 본인이 돈을 버는 것을 희망할수록, 자아존중감이 높고 가족의 취업지지가 높을수록 고용유지에 긍정적인 영향을 미침을 확인하였다. 그러나 중졸에 해당하거나, 도움 필요정도가 높고 장애로 인한 제약을 경험한 경우에는 실직과 같은 고용 유지 실패 위험이 증가하는것으로 나타났다. 연구결과를 토대로 발달장애인의 고용유지를 위해서는 발달장애인 개인의 일과관련된 내적 동기를 강화함과 동시에 장애친화적 근무환경을 조성하고, 발달장애인의 가족이 발달장애인의 직업생활을 지원할 수 있는 체계를 마련해야 함을 제언하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to explore factors influencing employment retention of persons with developmental disabilities. For this purpose, 463 developmental disabilities samples were used in the Survey of Work and Life with developmental disabilities in 2020 of KEAD, and survival analysis was conducted after composing the demographic factors, disability factors, employment environment factors, and human capital factors. As a result of the analysis, the more male, the younger the age, the more they work at a vocational rehabilitation facility, the higher the monthly average wage, the more they hope to earn money, the higher their self-esteem and the higher their families support for employment is positive for job retention. However, it was found that the risk of unemployment increased if they had a middle school education, had a high level of need for help, or experienced limitations due to a disability. Based on the research results, it is suggested that in order to maintain employment of persons with developmental disabilities, the intrinsic motivation related to the work of individuals with developmental disabilities should be strengthened, and at the same time, employers should create a disability-friendly working environment and prepare a system in which families of persons with developmental disabilities can support the professional life of persons with developmental disabilities.
