국문 초록

본 연구는 조직간 정의와 사회적 자본 관점에서 조직간 관계 유형을 구분하고 각각의 관계 유형을 지지, 보완하는 적합한 관계통제 방안이 사용될 경우 공급망 성과가 어떤 차이를 나타내는지 조사하였다. 본 연구를 위해 우편조사 방식으로 설문자료 수집이 실행되었다. 우리나라 상장 제조 기업들을 대상으로 자료 수집이 수행되었으며, 104개 제조기업의 유효한 설문 자료가 수집되었다. 가설 검증 결과, 상세한 계약 체결, 비재무 성과 통제와 재무성과 통제는 배분 및 절차적 정의와 유의한 양의 상관관계를 보였다. 신중한 파트너 선택은 상호작용적 및 정보적 정의와 양의 관련성을 보였다. 그리고 신중한 파트너 선택이 모든 사회적 자본 제고와 관련성이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 조직간 관계 유형별로 적합한 관계통제 방안들이 사용되고 있는지 집락 분석을 이용해 확인하였다. 분석 결과, 정의롭고 강한 유대의 관계 군(집락)에서 상세한 계약 체결과 신중한 파트너 선택이 많이 사용되는 것으로 나타나 관계 유형에 적합하게 관계통제 방안들이 사용되고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 정의로운 관계 군에서는 비재무 성과 통제와 신중한 파트너 선택의 사용 정도가 높게 나타나 일부 적합한 사용을 보여주었다. 조직간 관계 유형에 적합한 관계통제 방안들이 사용될 경우 높은 공급망 성과가 나타나는지 입증하기 위해 집락별로 공급망 성과를 비교하였다. 성과 및 행동 통제와 신중한 파트너 선택이 많이 사용되는 정의롭고 강한 유대의 조직간 관계 군에서 공급망 성과가 높게 나타났다. 그리고 정의로운 관계 군에서도 비재무 성과 통제와 신중한 파트너 선택의 사용 정도가 높으면서 공급망 성과 또한 높았다.

영문 초록

This study empirically investigated the fit relationships between inter-organizational control devices(ICDs) and the types of inter-organizational relationships(IORs), which are classified with the levels of inter-organizational justice(IOJ) and social capital developed. We also examined the differences in supply-chain performance according to the degrees of fit. For this study, the 104 sample firms’ data were collected form Korean manufacturing firms listed on the stock market. For the data collection, we used the questionnaires. The empirical results showed the significant positive relationships between the distributive and procedural justice, and ICDs such as specific contract, and the financial and non-financial performance control. The positive relationships between the interactive and informational justice and ICDs such as prudent partner selection were also observed. It was found that social capital is positively correlated with all ICDs. The results of a cluster analysis noticed that under the justice and strong bond IORs, the usage degrees of specific contract and prudent partner selection are high, which show high fit relationships between types of IORs and usage levels of ICDs. According to the results, it was observed that under the justice IORs, the use levels of non-financial performance control and prudent partner selection are high, which also show the moderate fit relationships. Through the comparison between clusters, we examined the differences in supply-chain performance according to the degrees of fit. The results suggested that under both the justice and strong bond IORs and the justice IORs, which show the high or moderate fit relationships, the levels of a supply-chain performance are also high. Thus, it is concluded that the fit relationships between the types of IORs and the usage levels of ICDs can affect the improvement of a supply-chain performance.
