영문 초록

This paper aims to induce a lesson by observing the history of the democratization of Chosun University in the 1970s toward the May 18th Democratization Movement. For this purpose, I study the pro-democracy movement of Gwangju and the situation of Chosun University in that time. Next, I introduce the details of the movement of the educational institute from 1970 to the May 18th Democratization Movement the democratization movement in the university related to the late President Park Cheolwoong depending on Chosun University s History of 50 years. Through the analysis, this research is expected to say the lesson that the Government should take an expeditious and fair step to the corruption and violence of the management of the private educational institute.
