국문 초록

본 연구에서는 급증하는 다문화가정의 시대에서 중요한 개념인 다문화수용성과 그에 유의한 영향을 미치는 변인인 자아존중감을 주요 변인으로 설정하였으며, 다문화수용성과 관련하여, 중요한 영향요인인 사회적지지도 통합하여 고려하고자 하였다. 이에 본 연구에서는 대한민국 내 다문화가정의 아이들을 대상으로 자아존중감, 다문화수용성, 사회적 지지의 수준을 파악하고, 사회적 지지에 따른 다문화수용성과 그 안에서의 자아존중감의 매개효과를 확인하고자 하였다. 가설 검증 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 가족의 지지는 자아존중감(β=.618, p<.001)과 다문화수용성(β=.251, p<.001)에 정적(+)영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 독립변인과 매개변인을 동시에 투입하였을 때 자아존중감은 다문화수용성(β=.168, p<.001)에 정적(+)영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고 종속변인인 다문화수용성에 대한 독립변인의 영향력이 떨어져(2단계: β=.251, 3단계: β=0.147) 가족의지지와 다문화수용성과 갖는 관계에서 자아존중감은 부분매개 효과를 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 부모의 지지는 자아존중감(β=.479, p<.001)과 다문화수용성(β=.227, p<.001)에 정적(+)영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 독립변인과 매개변인을 동시에 투입하였을 때 자아존중감은 다문화수용성(β=.150, p<.001)에 정적(+)영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고 종속변인인 다문화수용성에 대한 독립변인의 영향력이 떨어져(2단계: β=.227, 3단계: β=0.155) 부모의 지지와 다문화수용성과 갖는 관계에서 자아존중감은 부분매개 효과를 보이는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

In this study, multicultural acceptance, which is an important concept in the rapidly growing era of multicultural families, and self-respect, a variable that significantly affects that, were set as major variables. In addition, regarding multicultural acceptability, social support, an important influence factor, was also intended to be integrated and considered. So, this study aims to identify the level of self-esteem, multicultural acceptance, and social support of children from multicultural families in Korea, and to identify the mediating effect of self-esteem in the relationship between social support by families and parents and multicultural acceptance. The hypothesis test results are as follows: First, family support has been shown to have a static effect on self-esteem(β=.618, p<.001) and multicultural acceptance(β=.251, p<.001). In addition, when independent variables and parameters were injected at the same time, self-esteem was shown to have a static (+) effect on multicultural acceptance(β=.168, p<.001). And, because the independent variable s influence on multicultural acceptance, which is a dependent variable, has decreased(Model 2: β=.251, Model 3: β=0.147), self-esteem has been shown to have a partial mediating effect in the relationship between family support and multicultural acceptance. Second, parents support has been shown to have a static effect on self-esteem(β=.479, p<.001) and multicultural acceptance(β=.227, p<.001).
