영문 초록

The Presidency of Diaz was a time of significant change in Mexico. Diaz s attempts to consolidate his political and economic over the nation. His political rule was personalistic and the authority of the executive embraced the branches of government and extended over the governors of the provinces For the state of Yucatan, an area which was geographically isolated and far removed from the federal government in Mexico city, the Porfiriato introduced a series of changes which affected the political, economic and social structure of state. The policies of the new administration had great effect in the Yucatan.
