국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 초등학교 교사의 교사 효능감과 ADHD 학생의 행동특성에 대한 교사들의 인식과 대처방식의 실태를 파악하고, 교사 효능감과 학생에 대한 인식 및 대처방식의 상관관계를 밝혀 향후 교사교육의 방향을 모색하는데 필요한 기초자료를 마련하는 것이었다. 경기도의 초등학교에 재직하고 있는 초등학교 교사를 대상으로 설문 조사를 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 초등학교 교사들은 보통 이상의 긍정적인 교사 효능감을 가지고 있었다. 둘째, 초등학교 교사의 ADHD 학생에 대한 인식 수준이 보통 이상인 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 초등학교 교사의 ADHD 학생에 대한 대처 방식은 배경변인과 상관없이 보통이상의 수준을 가진 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 교사 효능감과 ADHD 학생에 대한 인식과의 상관관계는 개인적 교수 효능감과 유의한 정적 상관관계가 있으며, 특히 일반적 교수 효능감과 매우 높은 정적 상관관계가 있었다. 따라서 교사 효능감 중 일반적 교수 효능감이 높을수록 ADHD 학생에 대한 인식수준이 높다고 할 수 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between teacher efficacy and perceptions of elementary school teachers on ADHD students, and their ways to deal with ADHD students. This study would be useful to explore directions for teacher education. The subjects for this study were 250 teachers who were working in schools in K, H, S, B, and A cities across the Kyeonggi province. Data were collected by using the mailed-questionnaire from April 1, 2007 to May 1, 2007. After data cleaning, 175 questionnaires were analyzed. The results of the study were the followings : First, teachers showed that they have a positive and mediocre teacher efficacy. The levels of teacher efficacy were similar without differences according to their background variables. Second, perception of teachers on children with ADHD was above average. Third, the cope with ADHD students of teachers was above average without differences according to their background variables. Finally, there was a directly proportional relationship between personal teaching efficacy and perception of teachers on ADHD students; a strong relationship existed between general teaching efficacy and perception of teachers on ADHD students.
