재활문학에 나타난 지체장애인의 사랑과 희망에 대한 경험 고찰

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 재활문학을 통해 나타난 재활과정에서의 사랑과 희망에 대한 경험이 지체장애인의 재활에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아보기 위한 것이다. 사랑이나 희망에 대해 근본적인 경험, 사랑과 희망을 베풀고 사랑하는 경험은 장애인과 비장애인 모두에게 동일하다. 하지만 사랑과 희망에 관한 지체장애인의 재활과정의 경험에 있어서는 지체장애인만이 가지는 독특한 특성들이 나타났다. 첫째, 재활과정에서 나타난 사랑의 주요 경험은 1) 받는 사랑, 2) 자신을 사랑하고 나누는 사랑, 3) 서로 감동을 주는 사랑, 4) 연인의 사랑, 5) 사랑의 결혼, 6) 사랑에서의 이별, 7) 사랑하는 가족의 죽음, 8) 하나님의 사랑과 같이 8가지 경험에 관한 내용으로 분류되었다. 둘째, 재활과정에 나타난 희망은 1) 자신보다 어려운 사람을 생각하는 것으로부터의 희망, 2) 동료를 통한 희망, 3) 희망을 주는 사람, 4) 희망 속에서 삶의 존재 가치를 발견, 5) 절망에서의 희망, 6) 재활의 원동력으로서 희망, 7) 휠체어나 왼발에서의 희망, 8)취미나 직업을 통한 희망, 9) 첨단공학을 통한 희망과 같은 9가지 경험에 관한 내용으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 사랑은 일방적인 사랑보다 둘 이상이 서로에게 사랑을 함께할 때 사랑에 대한 치료효과도 나타나고 희망은 재활의 원동력이 됨을 알 수 있었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to know how the experiences of love and hope in rehabilitation processes shown in rehabilitation literature affected rehabilitation of people with physical disabilities. The basic things about love and hope and the sharing of love and hope are same for both people with disabilities and nondisabled people. However, the experiences of people with physical disabilities regarding love and hope show the unique things of those with physical disabilities. First, the major experiences about love shown during rehabilitation processes were eight experiences such as 1) given love, 2) love for oneself and give love,3) touching love for each other, 4) love of lovers, 5) marriage of love, 6) from love to separation, 7) the death of loving families, and 8) God s love. Second, the major experiences of hope shown during rehabilitation processes were nine experiences such as 1) hope from people who experiences more difficulties than him/herself, 2) hope from colleagues, 3) people giving hope, 4) finding from the value of life through hope, 5) hope from desperation, 6) hope as motive power of rehabilitation, 7) hope from wheelchair or left leg, 8) hope through hobby or job,and 9) hope through up-to-date technology. Finally, when people love and share love one another rather than loving oneself, therapy effects of love were shown and love became the motive power of hope and rehabilitation.
