뇌성마비인을 위한 보완·대체의사소통체계 연구 동향 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 뇌성마비인의 보완·대체의사소통체계에 관한 국내·국외 연구를 고찰하기 위해 1994년부터 2010년 사이에 발표된 논문을 연구유형, 연구주제, 연구대상, AAC 적용실태, 실험연구 동향으로 나누어 분석하였다. 분석논문은 국내 37편, 국외 46편으로 총 83편이다. 연구유형은 국내연구는 실험연구(78%) 위주였으나, 국외연구는 조사연구(30%) 및 질적연구(23%)의 비중이 더 높게 나타났다. 연구주제는 국내·국외연구 모두 의사소통기능향상 및 의사소통 상대방 훈련 등 다양한 주제의 연구가 이루어지고 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 국외 연구가 국내연구 보다 좀 더 다양한 주제로 이루어지고 있었다. 연구대상은 국내는 유아와 초등학생 위주의 학령기 아동 중심으로 이루어지고 있었으나, 국외는 성인을 대상으로 한 연구가 많았다. 연구방법은 국외연구는 기존에 AAC를 활용한 경험이 있는 피험자를 대상으로한 연구가 80% 이상이었으나 국내는 8%에 불과하였다. AAC 적용실태는 국내·국외 연구 모두 하이테크놀로지의 AAC를 가장 많이 활용하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 근거로 국내연구와 국외연구의 차이점을 알아보고 뇌성마비인의 AAC 후속연구에 대한 효과적인 실행방안에 대해 논의하였다.

영문 초록

In this study, papers that have been published from 1994 to 2010 are classified by research type, research topic, research target, research method, and ACC application condition, and analyzed, in order to consider foreign and domestic studies about Augmentative and Alternative Communication for peoples with cerebral palsy. Analysed papers include total 83 studies, consisted with 37domestic and 46 foreign studies. For research type, domestic studies are mainly based on experimental researches (78%), whereas more investigation researches (30%) are found than qualitative researches (23%) in foreign studies. For research topic, various topics of studies including communication functional improvement and communication partner training have been conducted in both domestic and foreign studies, and foreign studies are composed with more varied topics than domestic studies. For research target, domestic studies focus on preschooler and children of school age like elementary schoolchild, whereas foreign studies mainly focus on adults. For research method, 80% or more foreign studies target to the subjects experiencing AAC utilization already, which is only 8% in domestic studies. For AAC application condition, it is found that high technology AAC is most commonly utilized both in domestic and foreign studies. Based on such research results, differences between domestic and foreign studies are figured out, and effective action plan for the subsequent ACC studies of peoples with cerebral palsy is discussed in this study.
