성공적인 지역사회로의 전환을 위한 중도·중복장애학생의 진로·직업교육 방향성 탐색

국문 초록

이 연구는 중도·중복장애학생이 지역사회로의 성공적인 전환을 하기 위해 학교에서의 진로·직업교육의 방향성을 탐색하는데 목적을 두고 있다. 연구방법은 중도·중복장애학생의 전환 프로그램과 교육과정, 적응행동검사 도구 및 기본교육과정의 직업교과를 Snell과 Brown(2006)의 개별화 전환교육프로그램 진단분석틀을 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과로는 첫째, 중도·중복장애학생의 전환 프로그램과 교육과정 및 적응행동검사 도구에 포함된 진로교육의 영역은 가정생활, 지역사회생활, 여가생활, 직업생활로 구분할 수 있었다. 둘째, 중도·중복장애학생의 사회로의 전환을 위한 특수학교 기본교육과정의 직업교과의 영역은 개인생활영역은 하위영역이 11개, 지역사회생활은 3개, 여가활동에 2개, 직업생활영역에 5개로 영역 간 불균형을 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 이들 분석내용을 바탕으로 중도·중복장애학생의 진로·직업교육은 향후 생태학적 모델에 입각하여 미래 사회에서 조화롭게 적응해 나갈 수 있도록 성인기에 요구되는 4개의 영역과 내용요소로 구성해야 한다. 교육활동목록은 개별 학생의 요구에 맞는 학생 중심의 전환교육 프로그램 적용이라는 진로·직업교육의 재개념화에 대한 논의를 다루고 있다.

영문 초록

Current special education schools and classes in Korea focus mainly on students with severe and multiple disabilities, yet measures for this are not sufficient. Accordingly, there is an urgent need of measures to help such students transition from school to the society. This study examines the reconstitution of transition education program regarding career and vocational education for students with severe and multiple disabilities, and was conducted by analyzing relevant literature. The results of this study are as follows; first,transition program and curriculum for disabled students to the society was analyzed. Second, educational needs of students with severe and multiple disabilities regarding adaptation and social skills test tools was analyzed. Third,the vocational education course of the basic curriculum for students with severe and multiple disabilities was analyzed. Based on these results, this study suggested a model that reconstituted the transition education within the vocational education course for students with severe and multiple disabilities, and proposed implications. This study is expected to provide groundwork for discussions on the transition education in vocational education course and other general educational programs for students with severe and multiple disabilities.
