영문 초록

This reminisce piece looks back upon his recording career in the 1960s with the focus on some of his most enduring personas he created and breathed, suggesting that he did not only speak through his words but also through his images and sounds. I contend that it was not just his lyric writing but a combination of his sound-making and images that personified his ever-growing legend. Sometimes, some things become so intertwined and interwoven with one another that it gets to the point they are inseparable. Bob Dylan s amalgam of lyrics, music, and images altogether is a prime example of his everlasting legacy. Considering that he is mostly known as a folk artist outside his home country, this overview beyond his folk years will shed some light on his career.
