조선후기 부평도호부 관아 지구의 경관 복원

국문 초록

오늘날 인천광역시 계양구 계산동 일대는 조선후기 부평도호부의 관아 지구가 있었던 곳이다. 조선시대 지방 고을의 옛 관아 경관은 한반도의 전통 도시 경관을 대표하며 현재의 관점에서 우리 삶을 풍요롭게 하고 지역인문학의 진흥에 기여할 수 있는 귀중한 역사도시경관이 된다. 본 연구는 부평의 관아 경관을 구성했던 주요 시설은 다양한 고지도를 통해 시각적으로 확인할 수 있었다. 옛 지리지와 읍지를 통해 주요 관아 시설들의 규모와 좌향, 부속시설 등을 알 수 있었다. 일제강점기의 지적원도와 구토지대장을 분석하여 옛 부평 읍치의 일대의 국유지 분포와 국유지 지번, 지번별 지목 및 지적 경계의 형태 등에 대한 정보를 파악하였다. 이러한 자료들을 통해 부평부의 옛 관아 경관을 구성했던 아사, 객사, 연무당, 부창 등의 위치와 공간 범위, 건물 형태를 추정하였으며, 향후 부평 관아 시설의 발굴 및 경관 복원의 가능성을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

The area of Gyesan-dong of Incheon is where the administrative center of Bupyeong Eupchi( county seat) of the late Joseon dynasty was located. The old landscapes of the local administrative center of Joseon dynasty represents the traditional urban landscape of the Korean Peninsula and becomes a valuable historic urban landscape that can enrich our lives from the present point of view and contribute to the promotion of regional humanities. The author is able to visually confirm the main facilities that constituted the landscapes of the Bupyeong’s administrative center through various old maps, and knows the scale, standing direction, and attached facilities of major facilities through the old geographical literatures of Bupyeong area. By analyzing the original cadastral map(1910), information on the distribution of national lands in the old Bupyeong-eupchi, the number of national lands, the location of each area and the shape of the boundary were identified. Based on these data, the location, spatial range, and shape of buildings such as Asa and Gyeksa which constituted the old administrative landscape of Bupyeong, were estimated, and the possibility of excavation and landscape reconstruction were proposed.
