영문 초록
In this paper, we propose the new algorithm for enhancing the quality of images. That is based on multi-scale decomposition method and non-linear filter. Multi-scale decomposition method was used to find the brightness contrast. We used the weighted median (WM) filteras the non-linear filter for effective sharpening process. As the experimental result, we got the good result. So we can conclude the proposed algorithm is very practical method to apply to the real application. And also it has the merit easy to be implemented in the hardware.
