초등학생 인성교육 프로그램 효과 메타분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 초등학생에게 실시한 인성교육 프로그램을 분석하여 초등학생을 위한 인성교육 프로그램을 개발하는 데 있어 고려해야 할 사항을 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 최근 10년간 국내 석사학위 및 박사 학위 논문과 학술지 발표 논문 중 PICOS에 따라 43편의 연구와 306개의 효과크기를 산출하였으며, R Studio를 이용하여 메타분석을 실시하였다. 연구의 결과 전체 효과크기는 큰 효과로 나타났으며, 조절 변인에 따른 분산분석 결과는 프로그램 유형은 코칭 기반 프로그램, 참여 인원은 31명 이상, 적용 시간은 일과시간 내내, 1회기 시간은 40분 초과에서 80분 미만, 총 회기는 11~20회기 일 때 효과크기가 가장 큰 것으로 분석되었다. 하지만 연구대상에 따른 효과크기에는 차이가 없는 것으로 분석되었으며, 종속 변인에 따른 효과크기 또한 유의한 차이가 없었다. 따라서 초등학생을 위한 인성교육 프로그램을 개발할 때에 프로그램 유형, 참여인원, 적용 시간, 1회기 시간, 총 회기 등의 조절 변인들에 대한 고려가 필요할 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to provide with meaningful data on the development and application of character education programs for elementary school students in the future by analyzing previous studies conducted on elementary school students. To this end, 43 studies and 306 effect sizes were calculated by PICOS based on master’s and doctoral dissertation and academic journals published last 10 years and Meta-analysis was performed using R Studio. The study found that the overall average effect was large effect size. And according to the adjustment variables revealed that the program type was the largest effect size in coaching based programs, in a group of more than 31 participants, for over 41-80minutes, in all through school hours, in 11-20 sessions. However, there was no significant difference in the magnitude of the effect according to the characteristic of participants and dependent variable. Therefore, previously suggested adjustment variables(program type, size of group, session time, application time, number of session) should be carefully considered when developing a program to character development for elementary school students.
