국문 초록

본 연구는 일본어의 경어표현 중 의미기능적으로 ｢お~になる｣나 ｢~られる｣ 등과 유사한 ｢お~だ｣를 고찰하고 있다. 이러한 유형의 경어표현은 일상회화 장면에서 높은 사용빈도를 갖고 있음에도 불구하고 지금까지 국내 일본어교육 현장에서 주요한 학습항목으로 취급되는 일은 거의 없었다. 그 배경에는 ｢お~だ｣ 특유의 문법적 기능과 다른 존경표현과의 차이 등에 관한 충분한 고찰이 이루어지지 않았다는 점을 들 수 있다. 하지만 해당 표현은 일본어모어화자와의 원활한 커뮤니케이션을 위해서는 반드시 철저한 지도와 학습이 선행되어야할 중요학습항목이라는 점에 이론은 없어 경어교육에 적극적으로 도입을 해야한다고 생각합니다. 이에 본 연구에서는 ｢お~だ｣를 구성하는 동사연용형(엄밀히 말해 연용형명사)에 대해 다각도의 분석을 통해 다른 존경표현인 ｢お~になる｣와 ｢~られる｣와의 차이를 밝힘으로써 ｢お~だ｣경어표현에 새로운 시사를 제공함과 동시에 국내의 일본어경어교육의 새로운 지평을 모색하였다.

영문 초록

This study considers respect expressions in Japanese that include “O-da”, which is semantically and functionally similar to “O-ni naru” and “-(ra)reru”. Contrary to its high frequency of use in everyday conversation, this type of honorific expression has rarely been taken up as a major learning item in the field of Japanese language education in Korea. The background to this is that sufficient consideration has not been given to the grammatical function unique to “O-da” and its differences from other respected expressions. However, there is no doubt that the expression is an important learning item that must be acquired for smooth communication with native Japanese speakers, and it is considered that it should be actively incorporated into Japanese honorific education. Therefore, in this study, we tried to analyze the verb continuous forms (strictly speaking, continuous form nouns) that compose “O-da” from multiple angles, and then tried other honorific predicates such as “O-naru” and “O-da”. By clarifying the difference from “to be”, we will give new suggestions to the expression of respect for “o-da” and seek a new way of teaching Japanese honorifics in Korea.
