영문 초록

The book called Manure ecology in the agricultural history of East Asia is the achievement of endeavor to understand the study of social economics in the view of ecological environment. Although former social economic researchers had much interest in agriculture, they concentrated the explanation of social and functional changes according to an agricultural raise. But they didn’t pay much attention to the matter of nature and environment. Natural environment just used to be cited as an object of development or conquest by human being to increase farming production or Introduced as historical background. The author, however, insisted that the process of feces into resources is not only the try of profit for agricultural production, but also the act of circulating resources among heaven, earth and man that make organic relations of ecology. He followed the grammar of existant social economists. At the same time he succeeded to trace the sprout of ecological seed in the farming of East Asia; i.e, the author broadened the horizon of research of agricultural history with that of ecological environment.
