영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to understand the effect of deep tissue massage on stress of middle-aged women. Deep tissue massage is performed centering on the upper and posterior cervical muscles of the body, and stress measurement using a device was measured three times in a unit of 30 minutes and 1 hour before the experiment. The results of the study are summarized as follows. The pulse gradient and the sympathetic activity were changed significantly by 30-minute massage but those were not changed significantly after 60 minutes massage. The average pulse was decreased significantly by deep tissue massage. The stress index increased from 49.270 before deep tissue massage to 54.900 after 30 minutes (p=0.005), and 52.270 after 60 minutes.
