영아반 교사들의 열린어린이집 경험에 대한 내러티브 탐구

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 영아반 교사들이 열린어린이집에서 경험하는 것들은 무엇이며 어떤 의미를 지니고 있는지 탐색해 보는 것이다. 본 연구의 참여자들은 경기도 안산시 소재 가정어린이집에서 만0세, 만1세 영아반을 담당하고 있는 교사 3명이다. 본 연구는 2019년 3월 2일부터 10월 31일까지 연구자와 연구참여자의 저널을 수집하고, 각 개인별로 집단 면담과 개인 면담을 합쳐 최소 4회의 면담을 실시하였다. 수집된 자료와 전사한 내용을 분석하여 연구 결과를 도출하였다. 영아반 교사들의 열린 어린이집 경험을 통해 발견한 의미를 살펴보면 ‘열린어린이집에 대한 부담’, ‘부모들의 참여를 높이기 위한 노력’, ‘기쁨과 보람을 느낌’, ‘합리적인 평가에 대한 요구’로 나타났다. 연구결과에 기초하여 열린어린이집의 취지와 프로그램에 대한 충분한 이해를 위한 교사연수의 필요성, 부모의 관심과 상황에 맞는 프로그램 도입, 적절한 보상의 필요성에 대해 논의하였다.

영문 초록

This study was undertaken to evaluate the meaning of the experiences of infant teachers in a daycare centers. The participants are three infant teachers at a daycare center in Ansan city, Kyunggido, Korea. Journals of 3 participants and the researcher were collected from March 2, 2019 to October 31, 2019. Group or individual interviews for each participant were conducted and recorded under the participants’ agreement. The contents of interviews were transcribed and analyzed. The following findings were observed; “Teachers’ burden to open daycare system”, “Effort of teachers for motivating parents’ participation under the hard circumstance”, “Teachers’ feeling of accomplishment and Pleasure” and “Teachers’ demands for reasonable evaluation”. Based on these results, the necessity of teachers training for fully understanding the purpose and program of open daycare centers, the introduction of programs suitable for parents interests and circumstances, and the need for proper compensation were discussed.
